Five stars all around!! Communication with Danielle to coordinate the move was fast and easy through text and email. Super reasonable rates and no hidden fees. Alex and Vitaliy showed up right on time and packed/loaded/unloaded my belongings with the utmost care! They are also super friendly and helped to make what could have been a hectic day stress-free for me. I don’t have enough room for the kind things I can say about those guys. I would 1000% use them again.

Overall, my experience was very good, but with a couple small issues. I would rate them a solid 4.85, if I could. They did everything possible to make it go smoothly.
Prepping for the move, Danielle was very helpful and patient as we had our original house being built fall through due to contractual issues. Best Quality Movers allowed me to change my moving date every time we hit a bump, like when the stucco crew prevented the house from finishing on time. I appreciate that!
The move went very well, but this is where a few issues popped up. Small ones though. Starting with the positives, the loading crew was there early and was ready to work. They got everything packed and loaded, and the boxes they packed were well packed (so far I have found nothing broken at all). We picked stuff up at a separate location on the way to our out of state destination, and they were done before I even got there (I’ll touch on this again in a minute). It was fast! Unloading took about 1/3 of the time that loading did, which is normal, but there was hang ups there too that weren’t their fault.
Leo, the driver, was a super star! He handled everything with excellence! If a problem arose, he took care of it quickly! He made sure to take care of his crew, and was very personable to my wife and I. He provided a very pleasant experience!
As for the bad, I wish we had discussed payment options before them arriving. I assumed they took checks or had a card scanner. On the way to our second destination, I had to run to find a way to get money to pay them, and it was already pretty late in the day, so cashiers checks and money orders weren’t happening easily with me having to meet them. I started pulling as much cash as I could from the atm, only to find out that I could wire transfer the money. I would’ve done that in the first place, but then the boss starts telling me that they don’t usually accept same day money transfers. Well you should be more transparent in the future so I can pay you in your preferred method. It’s all good, they got paid, and I used some of all that cash I pulled out to tip the workers.
We finally get to our drop off point, and it’s an hour after Leo (the driver) estimated we were going to be there. The unloading crew has left, and he is working hard to find more people. (Leo was outstanding btw!!) Part of the problem with the original unloading crew wasn’t even their fault. Because our house was built in what’s considered a rural area, the gps doesn’t recognize where our house actually is at, so they ended up about a mile away down the road. Again, this is not really anyone’s fault, and not part of my point deduction.
The biggest problem I had was with the big chip taken out of my front door frame, and various dings on my walls. I get it, I was a mover for 7 years, that’s why I didn’t subtract any major points. The chunk from the door frame likely came from the big heavy couch, and it was already really late, and people were tired. I get it. I’ll just fix it with wood putty and paint.
Summary: Ultimately, they all worked hard, and adapted when needed to. Accidents happen and I can accept that. Leo is the guy, so ask for him for a driver! Remember to tip your movers at least 10-20% and get them some food! Not only do they appreciate it, but it’ll give them energy that helps them work. Great company, I’d use them again, 100%!! Thank you BQM!!

Actual price of our move was 43% HIGHER than the quote we were given after a video walk through of our contents. I can understand a 10-20% difference, but 43%?! Many original clay and glass art pieces were shattered, loosely wrapped and at the bottom of a loaded box. Small furniture and decorative items were stuffed into wardrobe boxes with no wrapping, also busted up. Now we know why we were charged for so many extra wardrobe boxes. And then, groups of HANGING clothes were thrown into a regular box on the hangers?!
INEXPERIENCE is what we concluded. This company we found out from one of the packers does this “WHITE GLOVE” full packing service on only 20% of their entire business. Packing and loading was all done the same day-9am to 12:45 AM. It turned out to be AS expensive as our MAYFLOWER quote-after that 43% increase.
They offered us $329 in damages to not talk negatively about their company.
Do NOT hire them for full packing and/or a move of any distance. We moved California to Colorado, and paid close to $20K. Mayflower quoted $17K. We were sucked in by their original quote which was around $12,000-again, on camera showing all contents. Real rip off.

I can’t recommend Best Quality enough! I had a one-bedroom move from Agoura Hills to Van Nuys (about 15 miles), and it was about 3 hours and 15 minutes from their arrival at the pick-up to their departure from the drop-off. They definitely didn’t tarry around and they went the extra mile to make sure that none of my belongings were damaged. I was truly amazed at how much just two movers were able to get done in such a short time, and the rate wasn’t astronomical either. I’ll definitely be using them again!

That’s really the best movers! The guys were incredibly careful and moved my things from Los Angeles, CA to Austin, TX, for a lower price than other companies. They arranged everything just the way it was before. Not a single item was scratched or lost! I honestly thought that was impossible. Thank you so much — I’m truly grateful!

Sergei and his 2 team mates did a quick and fantastic job for us with loading a trailer and maximizing our space. They were attentive, gave us some tips on how to pack items and had great work ethic. We would recommend them for sure! We only had them load our trailer and this photo below is a snapshot while loading. Worth every penny.
