I want to commend Fairfield Subaru for their excellent Service Department - my first-ever experience with their team confirmed my faith and loyalty to the Subaru brand.
The details: Having recently moved to the North Bay, when my mechanic diagnosed a failed Data Communications Module (DCM) on my 2019 Outback, he referred me to a Service Bulletin put out by Subaru regarding this issue. I made an appointment with Subaru of Fairfield and their team were complete pros: David, the Service Advisor, took in my car and kindly provided me with a loner; Ron, the Service Manager, confirmed my mechanic's diagnosis and had a new DCM sent overnight from another Subaru dealership in the Western US. Subaru Fairfield installed a new DCM and Subaru battery the next day (pictured).
The dealership is top notch - beautiful showroom, first-rate parts department, and comfortable lounge. I highly recommend Fairfield Subaru!

I had an amazing experience at Subaru. My sales guy Cesar was the best and got me in the car I wanted with no hassle and he wasn’t your super pushy typical sales guy. He seems to go above and beyond and makes personal connections with his customers. Thank you for all your help. I will be requesting Cesar when we go back for our 3rd Subaru ! Finance was quick and simple. Probably some of the fastest I have dealt with. I appreciate all the steps the whole team took as taking in my trade in and getting me into my 2025 crosstrek wilderness which is also my first mom car. 10/10 will be coming here again. Thank you for the making this experience a good one and taking away the stress of getting a new car.

I can’t recommend the Fairfield Subaru location enough!! Kyler helped me on Monday and it was the BEST experience. He was very knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and he made the process incredibly easy. I also really appreciated how upfront and honest he was. He took the time to explain everything to me and really helped me feel confident in my decision. I can’t thank him enough! Veeda in the financing department was also amazing and SO helpful! This was the first time I went to a car dealership and felt no pressure and it was very refreshing. Everyone I came in contact with was really great and made my day that much better :) I won’t be needing a car anytime soon but if you do, you should definitely go here :)
& again, thank you guys for the amazing process and the new car!!!

Overall a good experience. Dakota Drummert, our sales representative, was very gracious and responsive. The inventory is impressive and the prices are very competitive and transparent which eliminates a lot of hassle and makes comparison shopping much easier. The lack of a fifth star is due to my experiencing some lack of attention to detail and communication issues. The new 2025 Outback Limited XT is an awesome vehicle but within minutes of leaving the dealership and getting on the freeway the Tire Pressure warning light came on and after pulling off and checking tire pressure I found the tire pressure on all tires to be way low, especially the front. Obviously, the pressure had not been checked for quite a while. I had assumed that the car had been checked out before delivery and made me wonder if I had tire issues. Also, all interior windows were covered with a film that was quite a hassle to remove. Also, I was not given a copy of the purchase contract when I left the dealership for some reason but was told it would be emailed to me but it took several emails and texts to get it after getting a few “I thought he sent it yesterdays”. Small details but ones you should not expect when purchasing a brand new car and kind of take away some of the excitement of the experience.

I will not be returning to this location. I took my vehicle in for a fuel line cleaning, and ever since my vehicle has been running loud & now I have a catalytic converter failure, I don't know if some debris came into contact with my fuel lines when the work was performed or if it was mechanic error but I definitely did not have this noise before, such a bummer because I thought by taking it to a Subaru dealer the work would be done right.

I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned Crosstrek from Fairfield Subaru last week. Hunter Friend was the salesman that helped me. He was very courteous, professional, and patient. I had many questions and concerns and he patiently listened and answered all of my questions. I also met the manager, and he was also very courteous and helpful. So far the car seems to be in excellent condition. I highly recommend shopping for you car at Fairfield Subaru, and working with Hunter Friend.

Buying this Subaru forester at the Fairfield Subaru with Tony was the most peaceful experience I’ve ever had purchasing a car! From the moment we walked in, to the moment we drove off the lot, we were treated with kindness, enthusiasm, compassion, and respect. I felt like we had genuine and lovely connection with Tony and the woman who did the final finance signing. The place itself had such a quiet and calm atmosphere. It was distinctly different than other dealerships I’ve been to! The entire process was so smooth, we were there for barely an hour and a half including the test drive.
Quick but important background worth mentioning….we had not bought a new car in over 20 years and had purchased a beautiful green Forester back in February of this year from a different Subaru dealership closer to our home (an okay experience but a lot of haggling back and forth and we were there nearly three and a half hours and it was chaotic and exhausting!) Then a month ago someone crashed into me on the freeway at very high rate of speed destroying the entire back end of the car. It was totaled. I thank God I was able to walk away from it, a testimony to the safety of Subaru and the grace of God! But we were crushed to loose our dream car. In the weeks following the accident my husband got in touch with Tony at the Fairfield Subaru and explained what had happened and to our delight they had a new identical green Forester! We are just so grateful for Tony and the team at the Fairfield dealership for making our dream come true a second time and for making it an even better and exceedingly more peaceful experience than the first time around. I will only ever buy Subaru now and I highly recommend Fairfield dealership and especially Tony!

Had a really great experience working with the dealership and Kyler to purchase a new Crosstrek. He listened to what I wanted, didn’t try to push anything else, and made sure I was comfortable with my choice. The whole process was quick, easy, and stress free. I needed to replace my car and was looking for a Subaru and didn't want to deal with the anxiety of haggling with a salesperson. I saw their 'One True Price' on their website and that they had the hybrid Forester I was interested in and went down there.
We worked with Jeremy who was very chill, asked us what cars were interested in (we looked at used and new cars), showed us what we wanted and did not pressure us in any way. I had some trouble remembering some information we needed to be able to complete things (websites/passwords), and he kept the pressure low and friendly enough for my brain to relax enough to remember and keep things moving forward.
Also thanks to the whole team, we have a small dog with separation anxiety who came shopping with us because he can't be left home alone for very long without panicking, and they were so nice/sweet about it.
I am overall happy with the experience and would buy a car there again (but I'm hoping we won't need too for a long time). Thanks guys!
