Olivia was incredible! The Lilac room was everything I could have ever dreamed of with a tub in the room!? Beautiful lilac coloring everywhere you looked, gorgeous glass window, a killer view from the room, and the entire place is beautiful! The garden was magical to explore and the tea and coffee were delicious. Breakfast felt so fancy and it was just the most comfortable experience ever! We even had a late night check in and it went SO smoothly. Will be staying here again!

Ferndale is a charming, peaceful town where you can escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The Gingerbread Mansion Bed & Breakfast is a stunning Victorian home that transports you back in time. The Empire Suite was beautifully decorated with attention to every detail, maintaining the period charm of the house. Tea time was delightful, with tasty scones and a beautiful atmosphere. The house is stunning! The music in the parlor made our visit even more enchanting! Worth the trip to Ferndale!

Love the town. The houses, shops and hotels all really nice! Always worth a visit…
The Gingerbread Mansion is so beautiful and they serve an afternoon ‘Tea’ with wine and Tea and delicious bites both savory and sweet….included with your stay.
Also included is a full breakfast in a lovely dining room.
The rooms not occupied were open to guests to walk through.
So much history preserved throughout the whole town.

Place was beautiful and the Victorian theme enjoyers would love it. From floor to ceiling the entire place was just gorgeous. For someone like me from a small town middle class neighborhood, I almost felt like I was not welcome to touch anything, despite there not being many restrictions placed or any rude comments. Overall a very luxury place to stay, and I'd recommend it to anyone willing to splurge on a cute night. +Breakfast tasted wonderful.
Nearby activities: In terms of restaurants, most meals are $40+ for the yummy stuff, Despite what the online menus may tell you. We really liked the Double D Bar and Bistro, and would recommend it as a restaurant to pair with the night

There isn't enough words to say on how much I loved this place. The lady met me and helped me with my luggage to the 2nd floor. Super quiet and homey with fireplaces going. The rooms are amazing. She said I was able to look at any rooms with the doors open and they were so cool unique! So big and nice. My room was so cute and the bed had a stool to get into the bed. They are so high and comfy. I can't tell you enough about how comfortable the beds are. Slippers and robes for you to use. And clean! So clean! Big bathroom. 4-6 is free apps and wine and water. It was so nice . She had it all set up and so beautiful and I sat by the fireplace drinking wine and eating apps. And you can for 2 hours! And lots of appetizers to choose from. Finger foods but couldn't be more perfect. Ferndale is a very small town. One strip of shops and restaurants and one saloon bar. The mansion is walking distance to the strip. Perfect location. All the cable channels you need and I had the best sleep. I can't say enough how homey it is for it being so huge with so many rooms. For breakfast that is included it's all set up in another room with pre set menus . I am dairy free only and saw the menu and thought oh well I will pick and choose what I can eat. She walked up and said I saw your note on the reservation I made you an entire dairy free breakfast with blueberry muffin, eggs with vegan butter , potatoes, bacon etc. I couldn't believe how nice that was that I gave her a tip which I know wasn't required. But it was the sweetest thing. This is well worth seeing and staying . I spent one night at the casino across the river and one night here for a more restful night . Perfect weekend!

This hotel was unbelievable! The whole hotel was immaculate. Every room was beautifully designed and everything felt very high quality.The staff were so welcoming and friendly. It made our trip very special.The breakfast was delicious and freshly made. If you're visiting Ferndale (which is an absolute must if you're in the area!), you have to stay here. By far the best place my fiancée and I have ever stayed.

10/10 I would recommend !! The staff is so knowledgeable,friendly, considerate , accommodating and hospitable. They genuinely care and made my visit that much more amazing. I can feel the love and appreciation they put into running the gingerbread JUST WOW!! Thank you Olivia and Persia. This mother daughter duo are a pair unmatched in the kitchen and all around the gingerbread. There warm welcoming throughout my stay was hands down the best I've ever experienced. If you have a food allergy or are vegan vegetarian or just love food they make everything from scratch. You can smell and taste the love that the staff brings to the gingerbread's charm. It's so clean and inviting. I felt like I was transported into a different era . Olivia gave me a tour of the historical gingerbread mansion and let me look at all the rooms. Such a unique experience , I cannot wait to go back. I stayed last sept. And am planning a trip as soon as I can. There's so many reasons to check out this amazing establishment

...so my daughter got a week off for Thanksgiving break, she is seven, and for a week prior to her vacation we looked and looked and looked for a wonderful place to stay and we have been all over together, I am her father. We found this beautiful place online and checked it out and booked it immediately and we couldn't be happier that we did! wow what an experience what an amazing place, it's absolutely kept clean and organized and fireplaces everywhere that are running that leave you feeling just so comfortable. Plenty of games to play and plenty of rooms to explore, my daughter and I played hide and seek for hours and it was just amazing. And then we had breakfast, and it was absolutely beautiful and delicious, in fact our second day there we were served in the most classy and elegant style the very best biscuits and gravy I've ever had in my life. The mistress of the house Olivia was incredibly classy and accommodating, we will absolutely be coming back to this wonderful Jewel of a place. And there's plenty to do in the surrounding areas, like this amazing rock store only about 10 minutes away, plus you have the bay to play in, plus not too far is a really cool zoo. This is an amazing place to bring kids ... thank you for such a wonderful time!

We just stayed here and loved it. It has a great vibe: very quiet and very victorian. Best part is from 4:00 to 6:00 when they put out wine and you can sit in front of fire and just relax. Breakfasts were good. Ferndale is a tiny little town, but a nice place to spend time.

It's always a privilege to be able to stay at the Gingerbread Mansion. The best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in. Great accommodations, clean, inviting and the friendliest inn keeper you could ask for. The breakfast is a five star meal made to perfection. This is wonderful place to stay if you're looking to enjoy yourself and create great memories. You'll be treated like family from the moment you arrive. Can't wait to come back.

The most beautiful and well-kept hotel we visited in the area. You travel back in time to the Victorian era. Each room an experience and the service is amazing. Don't miss their tea time and desserts from 4 to 6. The service is unbeatable!! ??. After seeing redwoods it is good to come to a place this beautiful to rest.
