They have nothing on the shelves. No one will help you. They offer to order on line why would I go to the store when I can order it myself on line. This is why sutures are dying and Amazon is booming. Figure it out or there will be none left.

I don't know what's happened to bed bath and beyond over the years but their customer service, and return policy. We Bought a VERY pricey espresso maker less than a year ago and they were so snippy about it. (It stopped working this morning!) They said to contact the manufacturer. (I already had) manufacturer wanted me to send it in- which would take several weeks! Really? So therefore I went to the store I got it at. Waste of time. Don't bother even shopping here.I used to work for another bed bath and beyond Over a decade ago and can attest it has gone extremely down hill.

I would love for a corporate officer to listen to the phone call I made on 09/08/22 @ 10:34a to the 2725 Marconi Ave, Sacramento, CA location. I called because I placed a curbside order for the Folsom, Ca. location. The order was instead transferred to this store. Due to the transfer, I never picked up the purchase. It is literally on the other side of town from me and I rarely, if ever, shop in that area. I recently discovered the purchase had been marked as though it had been picked up. In trying to resolve this issue, I spoke with someone claiming to be the manager. I explained the issue for a second time during this phone conversation and was met with a rude preening response. The "manager" stated, "It says it was picked up and is customer verified." I responded, "I'm not sure how that can be since I am the customer, and I didn't pick it up." His response was, Ma'am if you continue to be rude, I'm going to hang up." I asked to speak with someone else. He refused, stating he was the manager, and he didn't have to put up with (me) being rude and if it continued (he) would hang up." At no time was I rude. I hadn't even begun to get upset. I ended the call. Behavior like this is exactly why I never do business in that area. I understand he is feeling impressed by being a manager at a BBB and wants to be treated like he's the Queen of Sheba, maybe post on social media how he "handled" a customer or maybe he was showing off for his co-workers, that seems to be what children do these days. In any case, I don't believe this company is in such financial standing that customer's should be run away by immaturity, and false bravado. For all I know, he kept the purchase for himself or gave it to a friend. All that I know for certain is, I DID NOT receive the items.

Great products but I am sorry to say the worst service upon checking out. The lady will scan each item and then double check the item number to make sure it matches... ON EVERY ITEM. The line was so long and slow and nobody else there to check out. I won't be back, sadly.

Do not buy any appliances from them my son bought me a expensive Cuisanart 3-1 microwave - convention oven. It no longer heated or worked so boxed it up everything it came with only being a few months old. They told me no receipt n being it was over 30 days NO MATTER IF HE BOUGHT IT FOR A GIFT!! BEWARE IF YOU BUY GO TO COSTCO OR SAMS THEY TAKE THEIR-PRODUCTS BACK UNLIKE BBB!!!

We went the this location to return something and exchange it for a new one. The young man working the customer section was incredibly polite and helpful. He expertly assisted us all with a very kind and polite demeanor. At one point he got the slightest of backed up with a customer and was incredibly apologetic and again polite. This will be the BBB location I got to from now on. This was all in addition to maintaining the standard you would come to expect in one of these stores. All around a great and unique experience for returning something to a department store.
