Just tried to get a sandwich at the deli. The lady behind the counter didn't greet us, just said they're out of beef and pastrami. We wrote our sandwich orders on the order paper and left it there for the lady(who was busy talking to a coworker), we walked around the store for a while and came back, she hadn't even looked at our orders yet and was still talking to her coworker who was staring at us while she ignored us. The store was dead and they were chatting about non work related stuff. We eventually just grabbed our order papers, crumpled them up and left and got sandwiches at Safeway instead. Super disappointing customer service experience.

Today, I enjoyed the Best pastrami sandwich I’ve had since Canter’s in LA!!Perfect and huge!! For $10! Ray’s reminds me of Gelson’s in SoCal. You feel special shopping in this market! Yes, the prices are higher, but you do pay for quality. Ray’s is a superior market and very clean.Also, Ray’s is employee owned! This may be the very reason they are friendly and do their jobs so well with time to answer any questions. Thank you for that delicious sandwich!Sincerely,The Pastrami with Pickles Lady
