I am absolutely delighted with the craftsmanship of the repair work! I was hesitant to write a review because I am so thrilled with the results that I still have more shoes to send in! It will take around a month for the shoes to be restored to their original condition, but they will be as good as new. I have had two pairs of shoes repaired with them and both have gone beyond my expectations! My ten year old clogs were badly worn on the wooden sole and I didn't think they could be fixed. However, the work was incredible and the shoes are now even more attractive than before, and I am sure they can last for another ten years! I was completely astounded when I saw the quality of their work – it is simply remarkable!

The folks at Strehl's helped me get ready for shoulder surgery by putting new heels on my only pair of slip on shoes with just a couple days notice and letting a friend pick them up for me. And, they introduced me to elastic shoelaces!

I had my Whites fire boots resoled with logging corks and they did a superb job. My boots are custom fit for different size feet and i cant even tell they were not original. Service was fast and friendly. Couldnt be happier. Oh yea the pricing was amazing too.

I cant say enough good things about Strehl's. They are so kind and helpful. I am a larger woman and i have severe foot problems, the ladies made me feel so at ease as soon as i came in. They worked for about an hour and tried so many different shoes and insoles until they found just the right fit and comfort for me. I can not thank them enough.

I had my Whites Fire Fighting Boots worked on. They cut the branches new vibram soles and put metal screws in the toe of both boots. Imagine how many times I feel because metal slips on rocks. Cut half of the tips off of both boots to use screws. I have photos but of course don't allow that. The lady was rude about. Five Hundred dollar Boots on top of paying for new soles and I was wrong for being upset.

I will never ever buy shoes anywhere else. Strehl's customer service is what you yearn for if you have ever actually experienced real good customer service. Do the shoes cost more? Not really when you consider what you are getting and the professional and respectful way you are treated when you walk through the door. There may be a little wait before you get someone because they give you the full service and their undivided attention. The measures they take to make sure they meet every need and the care and concern they show for their customers and potential customers makes price and wait time absolutely negligible. Wort every penny and really, I learned so much about health and fitness just buying shoes! This place is the way every single store should operate. Thank you Marilyn and the whole lot of you that work at Strehl's. I guess you all already know that a pair of shoes can be life changing. Thank you, and God bless you!
