I am always pleased with the help I receive here! Christian, is my usual teller, and he's always polite and kind. To the reviewer below, Boy George London, I hope they never let you through the door again. Shame on you.

Worst customer service ever! Very unprofessional looking drive up tellers One even has neck tattoos? Not okay. I thought background checks were required to handle money. Also one of the unprofessional rough looking girls rudely told me I needed to hurry up and activate my new debit card. Very rude. Was talking to me like I was a child. I guess having money didn’t sit well with her. I’ll never go back to this location again. Working with switching banks all together. I got a very uneasy feeling

I did a drive up deposit the other day. The clerk held up a check and asked, "What is this for?"I replied, "Its a check that a customer sent me.""What are they paying you for? It's from out-of-state", she demanded.I informed her that my business was none of her business. After I insisted on talking to a supervisor I was told that the bank has the right to ask any question like that. There's been a lot of fraud recently, etc.Well how about a question like, "Sir, do you know the person who sent this check?" Or some other more professional and courteous sounding inquiry?I'm 63 and have never had an out-of-state check questioned by any bank. Yes, there have been holds on out-of-state checks, fine. I've been with BOTS for over 10 years and have never had a check bounce. I've often cashed checks from out-of-state. Is fraud happening only from out-of-state or is it possible that fraud could occur from in state?!! The sup didn't apologize for the lack of professionalism on the part of the clerk until I threatened to find another bank. Trust me, I'm looking elsewhere right now.

My husband and I had a horrible experience at your bank in Fresno, CA at the 636 E Shaw Ave, Fresno, CA 93710 location on 9/17 around 438pm. My husband and I got a check with both our names on it and I admit that the mistake on my part is that I didn't realize I had to sign in before he deposited. We got the check on Friday, Sept 10, so we figured it was going to be a few days for it to deposit it. Monday, my husband and I worked opposite shifts and we figured our check was still pending. We had our uncle's funeral Tuesday, 9/14 out of town and my husband worked til 6 the next two days and we figured the check was still pending. He did try to call, but there was something with the phone lines. Yesterday, my husband finally had a day off went to this bank around noon and asked why the check hadn't been deposited, the teller tells him that it was there, but I had to sign it and show my id. She also provided him with an address form so she knew he was going to be back. I got off of work, had to put air in my tires and rushed over to the bank around 430. I get there with my husband and the teller didn't even look up my husband's account so they knew exactly what check they were talking about when they said they mailed it out. I then told the banker why would she tell him I had to show my Id if she was just going to mail it out. She then said, she mailed it out because it didn't have the proper address which my husband changed over the phone when we bought our house and that she told my husband she was mailing it out. She later said she mailed it out because I did not show my ID. I told her I didn't get off til 330 and was on my way so why would she mail it out,, then she said she didn't mail it out and someone else did it. My husband told her she did not tell him that, she told him I had to go show my ID and the check would be deposited and she continued lying and back tracking. I'm not mad at the fact that she mailed it out, I'm mad at the fact that we wasted our time and she couldn't get her story straight when it came to our money and that no one gave us a call regarding this issue. When I asked her why didn't she call us before we rushed over there. She stated they got busy. If you go back and look at the cameras, there were 5 tellers and one customer when we got there. I asked for corporate number or a gm's number abs they provided me with the 2480112 number which doesn't work because it's just an automated system that keeps redirecting you. Whenever he uses the Clovis branch or the Kings Canyon branch, they have always called him if an issue arises. Overall, we will be moving our money to a credit union. Absolutely dissatisfied with the way the bankers handled this at this location. Also, I do want to apologize as I did have an outburst and I should not have reacted that way, however, I had a long week and my husband and I could have used that money that we waited months for.

I personally plan on moving all funds out of this bank. We put a check in the ATM, funds don't show on account as pending, where did it go? I have accounts with other larger banks and the amount will show as pending. I have been so unhappy with this bank since COVID and unfortunately since the only branch near me is closed I am unable to close this account.

If I could give negative stars I would! Mobile banking does not allow over $2000 daily deposit?! Why is there a limit to how much money I want to put into MY account? Called corporate and said I had to “request” the increase? So I need permission to deposit more money? Lobby’s are all closed, even though counties are re-opened, this is just plain laziness! Was in the drive through with 6 cars in front of me for 45minutes and didn’t move up at all! Congrats Bank of the Sierra, you just lost a customer of 23 years! And please “owner”, do not respond with some cookie cutter apology asking me to call yet another number! Do everyone a favor and close down your poorly run company!

Here again giving this location a 2nd chance and still nothing change. 2 cars in front of me for drive up banking and it's taking more then 1 hour. I have a major business account with them too. I called corporate and nothing has been addressed. It's sad to see the teller and branch manager getting paid to do there job and it's being done poorly and unprofessionally. The old branch manager Michelle ran this manager no problem. This new branch manager needs serious training. Covid 19 pandemic or not still horrible when there was no pandemic. No excuses.
