I never thought a bank could be this terrible.
I came in to verify the funds of a check before I deposited it into my bank.
This is pretty routine for me. I don't like unexpected surprises.
I visited 7 other banks that day, from credit unions to large institutions. All effortless complied with my request. It's been that way for 20 years.
I've never dealt with US Bank and didn't expect anything different.
I presented the check and immediately met with "we don't do that here." I was shocked and perplexed. I thought maybe this teller is new?
I requested the manager and was met with the same response.
They don't verify checks from their customers with their logo on it.
I responded with how do I know the check is good and will clear.
She literally stated, "You'll just have to find out it when you deposit it into your bank."
It's just a very ominous and untrustworthy response.
What a way to cast a cloud of doubt on your customers, let alone any checks.
I will no longer accept any checks from US Bank.
That's just a terrible and untrustworthy policy that they stand by.
I even called their customer service, and again, they WILL NOT verify their own checks.

I recently had a disappointing experience with Adam J. at this branch. I waited in line to deposit three checks in my bank account with the teller. After I was almost up in line, he comes up to me and asked me to follow to his desk. After me waiting again, he then tells me I couldn’t do something I have been doing for the past 8 years being a customer with US bank, and that is depositing my checks into my business account. My encounter with him was a complete waste of time and hope his management can have him do another training session on company policies and professionalism. After seeing the Google ratings I wasn’t surprised with my unpleasant experience. This experience left me frustrated and considering other banking options if this is a reflection of how customer service is handled here. Definitely not going back here again.

Us bank fashion fair mall has got to be the worst managed branch in fresno.this is the closest to my home but I find myself traveling way to shaw & marks just to do my banking.they need to fire the manager and get someone in here that makes this bank operate faster and more efficiently.

I like the comfort of being able to contact my branch if I wanted. Not anymore. Customer for 20 + years might be time to change
