I have came to this location for all my pets before and never have I been threatened with the safety of my pets until today. The lady checking in my dog for his quarterly grooming appointment was rude from the beginning! She was giving me questions like when was the last time I’ve brought my dog and if he was left outside. She then proceeded to “warn” me that she uses very sharp scissors and tools and has to go very close to the skin and “most likely will cut my dog!” YES, SHE SAID SHE WOULD MOST LIKELY CUT MY DOG!! Super concerned, I let her know that I’ve always came here with the same condition my dog was in (multi-poodle needing a summer’s cut and wash) and have NEVER been told anything like this, but she continued with saying “I’m just letting you know.” I told my sister “I don’t feel comfortable leaving my dog here” and she quickly said “Ok that’s fine have a nice day.” I could’ve said something but I know when I’m not wanted somewhere and I sure was not going to leave my dog in her hands after she threatened to hurt him. Groomers are professionals and need proper credentials to even come near an animal with sharp objects. So hearing her say this was very obvious that she didn’t want to cut my dog’s hair. It would’ve been fine if she declined cutting his hair but she crossed the line by threatening my dog’s safety. Went to another local groomer who not only did an amazing job, but gave 1000% amazing customer service and warm hospitality. Boo PETNJOY !!!

My husband and I walked into this pet shop we were looking for a shampoo for our dog that suffers from allergies. This place was recommended by a neighbor. As soon as we walked in, there was three ladies in the front they were talking amongst themselves.
But they never once asked us if we needed help or even greeted us. We were the only customers in there. All the dog stuff was behind the counter so I couldn’t just walk back there and grab it myself someone had to assist us with this. We stood there for an WHILE until my husband said “excuse me” and got their attention. At that point I was over it so we walked out. My 1 star review on this is simply for the customer service. I definitely won’t be going back there again!

I wanted to let everyone know that if you ever have any issues at Pet n Joy Gardena Esther would be your go to person. I want to say Thank you for all you did for me and my mother- in -law, Esther you went above and beyond 5 stars for you. My issue was with grooming but you stopped what you were doing and stepped right up and solved the issues and I will always be grateful. Thank you again Esther

It is a little cramped, but very clean and organized. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Took my two dogs in for first time and they did a very bad job. They complained about my dog moving so that's the reason they were not able to do a good hair cut, he has patches all over his body, I have never had any issues with him getting groomed and not only they are over price. I would think that if they are going to charge a high price they would had at least do a good job.👎👎

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience. My appointment was at 9:00 AM, but despite calling multiple times, I received no updates. When I arrived at 4:30 PM because the length of time did not seem right, I found my dog had been in the kennel for hours—already groomed—and no one contacted me.
Sadly, my dog urinated as soon as he got in the car, which he has never done- assuming he was stressed and left in poor care. This is unacceptable.
I hope this issue will be addressed. The lack of communication and apparent neglect are unacceptable.

Never coming here again the staff is very rude, customer is bobo,
once upon a time year ago the previous owners the store was nice.
now its awful. my fur baby urinated in the store and this person looked me with this awful look. this is a pet store right, I cleaned it up of course and looked at her asking you having a bad day or what..... I will take money some where else. RUDE RUDE.

For years I have visited this place taking my dogs for their haircut. On May 1, the same person who has always cut my dogs' hair was not there. Because of that, the person who was there abused me and charged me $100 for a puppy and left his hair poorly cut. He did not clean his ears and the treatment was bad with him and with me he exceeded the price when I have always paid 60 $65 For each dog there are 4 dogs that I always take to this place. I am dissatisfied and my dog is scared of the way they treated him.

My dog has been coming here since she a pup but the last 2 grooms were not good yesterday she received a summer cut and it looks like the groomer just nipping away uneven around the face and body tail looks un comb and left a matte on her ear. Smh I don’t like this particular groomer don’t know her name, She groomed my dog, the last two times the young younger girl does an excellent job
