I'm a huge bibliophile! I don't think I've ever walked past an open bookstore without stopping and yesterday was no different. We walked into the well lit, colourful, and charming space and were immediately greeted by the staff of three and a cute shop kitty named, Pippie. Because of a shirt I was wearing we all began talking about our favourite horror movies.
The shop was setup perfectly with great displays for kids and adults, puzzle lovers, those of us who love a knick-knack, and their Pride display was front and center.
We walked around each area searching the shelves; I was not about to leave the store without purchasing something. Found the third book in a trilogy I've been waiting for.
We chatted while longer with the personable staff and then walked out with our purchases.

Such an adorable gem of a shop! Was having a treat at the ice cream place next door and went in on a whim—I had passed by it many times, thinking it was only a children's book store. I'm so glad I followed the impulse because there is an adorable cat named Pippa that I got to give some scritches, super friendly staff (shout out specifically to Iz and Apollo but everyone was lovely), and cute gifts—not to mention all the amazing books. I definitely plan to go back and am excited to find a local independent bookstore that I can support and use to order new books through!

Amazing bookstore with wonderful staff. They have a great selection, and order basically anything and have it arrive within a week. Prices are extremely fair (no big markup for 'small business'). They also somehow get major children's book authors in for readings etc nearly every week. I feel lucky to live near this gem; my son and I come every week to buy books!

I love this bookstore! All the staff and the owner are so friendly and helpful. They always have a great selection of kids books, young adult, and even some great adult novels. I go here to buy my nieces and nephews puzzles, toys, and children's books for every birthday and Christmas. They offer free gift-wrapping and they're very timely with shipping. It's a way better option over Amazon or Barnes and Noble or Target. Plus they have great live author events and community projects. Definitely the place to go for quality, curated books.

Amazing place… great helpful staff and beautiful selection of items. High quality puppets, too! This is one of the oldest (if not THE oldest!) children’s bookstore in the country. Come check it out!

The two employees were so friendly, and best of all, Pippi melted my heart. Will come back again from Vegas. Really liked the book selection as well. Pretty cards as well. (I am typing as my wife and daughter are shooting complements.) We will definitely visit sometime soon.

I ordered a book and got a completely wrong book, no big deal. However, when I called the store to ask how I could return it and get the right book I was told first thing that I could not be helped since I ordered it online. I miss the days when people just tried to help each other first, and did not default first thing to I cannot help.

Had a very unpleasant experience ! The people who work there looked right through me as if I wasn't there so they wouldn't have to help me. I watched as the women behind the counter two to be exact. Kindly greeted others, helped them and totally looked over me as if I wasn't there ??!! Very Rude and Noticably Prejudice ?, that's ALL I can chalk it up to be. Because I am well dressed, well mannered, and patient. I waited a turn but never got one nor was offered one. Neither women even tried to extend courtesy to me, I got the hint and left but let me say this they did have some beautiful little things I was going to gladly buy for 4 of my grand loves ????‼️ But because of the rude cold shoulder I left with my wallet full of Money ?? and gladly spent it down the street at Marshalls where the service isn't according to the color of my skin but instead helpfully encouraging me to Spend, Spend,Spend and I did. So Once Upon a bad experience it was your loss ??
