The store has a nice selection of instruments, but my experience on Friday the 6th around 3:00 PM was disappointing. When I walked in, the man at the counter—a tall guy with a beard—didn’t greet me, offer assistance, or even acknowledge me. Instead, he turned up the music he was listening to and completely ignored me as I walked through the store. I’m currently in the market for a Martin 000-28, but it seems this shop doesn’t carry them—or at least no one made an effort to help me find out. Management should take a closer look at who they allow to represent their business. I’ll be looking elsewhere for my next guitar.

I love this Store and Manny is a bad ass on the harp, I really enjoy hearing him tear it up around Nevada City and I’m definitely looking forward to harping it up again when we get a chance!

Classic small-town music store - crowded with good inventory, fun to browse at and buy from. The high-end humidified guitar room is in the back if you’re looking for a sweet Martin or other new or used guitar. I bought a Fender parlor acoustic that I love, some gear, and narrowly avoided adding a Martin OM-28 to my collection!

This music store is the best. Great service and the people that work there are extremely knowledgeable. Foggy Mountain Music is my all time favorite. I highly recommend Foggy Mountain.

I bought 2 plugs for 8 dollars. They didn’t work. I returned them unopened in perfect condition, only to find out they only issue store credits. I don’t need anything at the
moment. You’re way ahead shopping at Amazon!

This store is a musician’s dreamland. My husband plays guitar and needed a foot pedal repaired and some new strings. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful in discussing the different options.

Awesome selection and really helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. I wanted to buy a new guitar for my wife, but not playing guitar myself they where able to help me find something really amazing. Excellent experience well worth the visit!
