Incredibly rude customer service. An employee working there named Rebecca brushed off a bunch of dirt and dust from her register counter onto my clothes and paid no mind or care. I said something about it, it she mockingly said 'I'm not going to listen to you "customer". Hope to never shop here again.

I found good Food and Stuff I wanted for less $$. Clean store, very nice employees. If they don't have everything you need, you can get it somewhere else later...Just go- it's so worth it!

This is a great store in Grass Valley California. They make sure you're finding everything you want to find in the store. All the shelves are faced out as if you were in one of the higher rent type stores. They have a great wine selection. The people there are helpful and acknowledge that you're looking for something and will help you when you need it period

This grocery store is important to many families in our area. Groceries cheaper. What's not to like? This store is run very well. The owners try hard to run a quality store, within their constraints. This is not a place to go for exact brands or specific items. More like a thrift store, where one sees what is there, first. Clean, well stocked and friendly. Produce department is large and has most of what you would expect. The wine and beer section is interesting. The cheese section is my favorite, often finding treasures there. Stock rotates and one never knows exactly what will be available. Be careful to identify products before taking them home. Occasionally, products are a little different than one would expect. Just makes it fun!Grass Valley Grocery Outlet is a good first stop to fill your grocery list. Especially if money is tight. Or if you just enjoy getting something a little different.

Really nice Grocery Outlet! I'm here visiting my daughter and this one is outstanding compared to the Grocery Outlet where I live (I'm not saying where I'm from but it is in the Bay Area). It is far better than the one in my city.

My friends call this store Gross Out and I kinda feel the same way now. Went there to buy a couple of things and saw they had lavender plants outside. Got into a conversation with the "plant man" who happened to be there, and told him I'd like to buy all of it, but would only get one flat (9 plants) so others could have some. [hard to find lavender anywhere]. I put the plants in the cart and he asked if I wanted something to carry them with and handed me a plastic liner and plastic pallet he had on the ground. Now the pallet was my property belonging to me. I went into the store, got some other things and entered a checkout. The checkout staffer said, "we don't give these away," and took the pallet away. I explained that the grower had given me that and she said again, "we don't give those away." In the first place, the pallets belong to the grower, not to Gross Out. Secondly, she's basically calling me a liar and really bad manners. One of the manager's was bagging my groceries and she told the checkout clerk to just give me the pallet. They got into an argument about it. I wrote to "customer service" and explained this embarrassment. Got a response - unsigned and without apology - that told me that all the stores are owned individually and I should contact the store manager. More bad manners. There were a couple of options for handling this situation - one of them was simply to allow me to keep my property instead of trying to grab it from me. Another would have been to offer a box to carry the plants - and keep my property. I don't have much use for a pallet beyond carrying those plants. As for the rest of the store - they have interesting food, but you can't always count on anything ever being there and you can waste your time there if you are looking for something they had last week and don't have now.

Love this store! It is the main source for my groceries every week. Great variety for really reasonable prices. Great selection of organic foods and produce and affordable as well. Healthy plant selection for outside gardening most of the year. Generous wine section. Cards are always half of the normal cost....etc.We can eat in a more healthful way because of this store being in our area.I am very grateful and thankful for how the managers have chosen to present this Grocery Outlet.

Love Grocery Outlet. Great customer service and prices. My only problem is when some of the regular items I buy are not there the week I show up. Love the produce and meat departments!

What to say? Grocery outlet is a mediocre place. Sometimes the prices are good, sometimes not so much. Just know your prices and check the expiration dates. The wine selection is excellent for the price.
