Best mechanic I've ever known. Simply can't get more experience and mechanical knowledge. Well worth the wait.

If I could give ' Negative Stars' I would. I came in this past weekend inquiring about having my motor scooter repaired. The owner Mark, and another employee, were just as rude and unhelpful as can possibly be. Mark just stares at you with this glazed over expression on his face, has as much 'people skills' as a piece of wood. Both him and other employee showed about as much interest in helping me as a 5 yr Olds interest in a Calculus textbook. Will NEVER go back again. Btw.....what's up with the hours of operation beginning at 10:15???

Very happy to see Mark's Cycle open last week! Needed a new helmet for the boy child and our recent go to shop didn't have a helmet in his size that he liked so he wasn't going to be able to ride. Driving by just to check when we saw Mark's was open we both lit up like a HID! Of course they had a helmet in his size that he loved with the perfect color scheme... Needless to say he has been ripping everyday since!

Mark is a dishonest, untrustworthy person with very poor business ethics.

Not real impressed with anything there. But they had parts needed.

Mark--the friendly proprietor of Grass Valley's best motorcycle shop--is the friend of many two-wheeled sportsmen, and a merchant of warmth, cooperation and skill--the kind, I suspect, which many of us would emu- late were we on the other end of a transaction. For repairs and parts, his shop could withstand any comparison, and the range of his stock is Olympian!--my own purchase was a big-bore Honda, and I have seen about the shop every other size machine on the pacing from my "Wing" all the way down to a World-War-Two "Doodle-Bug" (the little red scooters the U.S. Air Corps dropped by parachute to mobilize late-in-the-war soldiers). Visit this quiet and unassuming merchant. With all the advantages of a local business, he and his equally capable and friendly staff will not let you down! ... FIVE STARS--you split 'em any way you want, to reflect the shop's human relations, mechanical skill, and parts support.

Had my dudes XR250R for a month.. for a tune-up, carb rebuild, chain and sprocket.. $600... and now the bike runs worse than it did when he dropped it off. I dont generally post reviews.. but feel like peeps should be warned that Mark's seems to be having some issues:(

So I am letting the steam settle as I write this review. I have been riding for 32 years and today I bought my first full face helmet. So I did a little research and couldn't find one that suited me. Someone suggested Mark's cycle. Aha yes a good idea I thought. It was a huge mistake and one I will not make again. With my little experience with full face helmets I purchased one for total $183.00. I decided I would go to my office and check the prices on-line quickly. ( I admit I should have done this before I purchased the helmet but I thought Mark's Cycle had been around for a long time I think I could trust them.) I found the helmet for more than $100.00 less than I paid on every site I checked. This took me a whole maybe 10 or 15 minutes at the most since my office is right up the street. I returned quickly to Mark's Cycle I told them I wanted to return the helmet. The guy at the counter asked me why and I told him. I watched him check several on-line sites to see if what I was telling him was true. And there it was for him to confirm. He said he had to talk to the owner and a few minutes later told me I could not return it. I replied I just bought it 15 minutes ago. He said sorry. He said he would return some of the money. I had some choice words and expressed my dissatisfaction to say the least and walked out with a $60.00 refund after arguing my point for about 10 minutes because that was the only choice I was left with. Needless to say I would never recommend anyone to do business with someone who operates this way.

WARNING,WARNING,Do not use marks cycle store .I had my honda 90 in his store since 3-13-2015.i recievied an estimate on repairs and proceded to have the work done. The bike smoked so bad it could not be driven ,He proceeded to repair the smoking problem and had dis assembled the bike. I had stopped in to check on repair since 3-13-2015 at least 10 times since i had taken it in for repairs. He said he would repair my honda 90 and complete the repairs.Since Mark is never there his mecanic Jayson said the repairs would be complete by 8-10 2018.I went to pick my bike and it was never touched .I have removed it from his shop to have the bike repaired by a Qualified Cycle Mechanic.Iam proceedin He had charged me $930.91 to make repairs, and nothing was completed.I would never recommend marks cycle store to anyone,he be put out of business so other people do not get RIPPED OFF.
