I supplied the tires, purchased a new chain and tube from them. They charged me $480 and said it took them 2.5 hr to do this work. I should have taken it to BMW dealer instead.

The staff was nice but just not really great on updating you about the services being done on your dirt bikes or machines that are being worked on. They are pricey for maintenance but they are full certified repair people. Not the most friendly but options are limited up here in these parts. Let's just say I'm going to try a place in Roseville for my next repairs before I come back.

Went here for the first time after seeing a Suzuki V strom online for an unbelievable price. Salesperson Jerry made the whole experience painless and I was able to leave with a new bike in no time. Owner Sue was super helpful as well and gave me some extra parts they had for the bike. Also gave me a discount on some gear. I will be bringing em all my business, I couldn't be happier.

My husband and I had been talking about investing in an electric dirtbike for my kids to learn on for quite some time. We have three boys ages 7, 5, and 2, and they will all spend time on this bike so it needed to be sturdy, quiet, and not too heavy so they could pick it up when they fell. We talked about getting a 50, but I wanted one that was quiet so the boys could ride in the neighborhood and not make and "Karens" upset. Also, one of my sons is trying to be Evel Knievel and immediately hammers the throttle on ANYTHING he gets on so a 50 wouldn't be the best choice unless I wanted to see him send himself into a tree or vehicle in the near future. The OSET was the obvious choice, but I had the hardest time finding a motorcycle shop that had one in stock. Seriously most of the dirtbike stores didn't have any. One email to Sue at Sierra Motor sports changed that, we had a nice email thread ping ponging new messages back and forth and I decided I would drive out there to pick it up. I live in Pollock Pines, Sierra Motorsports is in Grass Valley- on my maps it just looked like a diagonal line, but it turned out to be quite farther than I anticipated! (My husband warned me, but I was stubborn and didn't listen) I'm so happy I went through Sierra Motorsports, it was completely worth the drive. The customer service I experienced while there was outstanding. They worked with me in making the bike a surprise and found a box to put the bike in, my boys totally thought they were getting lawnmowers-we don't even have any grass! They loaded the bike (in the box) up in my truck and secured it too! Also, they packed the box with care because there was enough packing cushion in the box that I could roll the box down the hill from Auburn to the American river and it would still be totally fine! (May be a slight exaggeration- but only slight). My family and I are so happy we used Sierra Motorsports, They may be quite a drive away from our house but it's totally worth it. With this single transaction they came to lifelong customer. Thank you everyone at Sierra Motorsports for making my kids birthdays amazing during a pandemic where they couldn't have a party!

They sucked when I bought my quad there. The salesman automatically added a Service Plan to my invoice without asking me. When I asked why he did that, he tried assuring me that it was a standard good measure. I told him the name Honda is my Service Plan. They come across as very aloof. It is definitely not the place to go when you are seeking expert professional opinion. They look for suckers.

Generator was supposed to be repaired today eight 6 o'clock for the 29° evening. I come in at 5:45 to pick up and no, it's not ready. No reason why I wasn't notified and oh in fact the check wasn't even in since I dropped it off. Champions. $2300 spent doesn't get you a cent of follow up here.

I do not rate them at all. Let the buyer beware. I am out $256.85 on a lawnmower that was not fixed. They were not truthful with me, the mechanic was rude and I waited 6 weeks to get the lawnmower back only to find out I had been ripped off.

We had a terrible "customer No service" experience. Took our motorcycle in to be repaired. Several things wrong with it(we expected this) our request was to repair it so it's like new. Picked it up in a couple weeks to the tune of $1200 which was also expected. When our son went to ride it the chain was so loose it was hanging with a lot of slack. No way he could ride it! He took it back up there thinking they'd stand behind their work and repair it. Nope, they wanted to charge us for the fix. After a lot of back and forth they did repair for no cost with the comment "we'll do it this time". And with a terrible attitude to go along with it! Then added, you'll have to bring this back after you ride because now it needs new wheel locks! What the heck??? We thought you fixed everything? No response. Not going back!!!

Our family is new to the area and wanted to purchase an ATV. We researched the different ATV's with several separate dealers. We decided to go with Sierra Motor Sports due to the excellent customer service and best price that Sales Manager, Jerry Bradley provided. It is always a plus when you can support an independently owned small business especially when they provide great customer service. Thank you, Jerry for making us feel good about our purchase.

Bought a brand new ktm from these people and when the front brakes were binding with less than 4 hours on it I took it in for warranty and then didn't hear anything for a week. When I went in to ask what was going on they told me they were trying to get a warranty for new pads. I tried to explain that the pads wouldn't explain why the brakes were rubbing and they ignored me. Eventually I had to trouble shoot and repair the problem myself. The caliper was assembled with no grease on one of the two pins. They never called to tell me that my " warranty" claim was denied but I expect it was because they didn't convey the correct information to KTM because their service department wasn't able to diagnose the problem. Never let these people touch your machine.

I bought a sweatshirt here for my boyfriend and had to return it- I was well within the very short 10 day rerun period. However when I went in to return the item I was notified that it had been on clearance when I purchased it and would not be able to get a refund. My only options were to receive store credit or to exchange for other merchandise (this was already not my first choice for style/brand, but I was attempting to support a small local business). I was not notified when I purchased the item that it was on clearance and had no way of knowing this as there was not a tag indicating a clearance price nor was the item in a specified clearance section, it was simply hanging with all the other clothing items. When I brought up this point there was no acknowledgement from the sales person who was assisting with my "return" and he processed a gift card and handed it to me, without so much as offering an apology for the situation and lack of communication. We will be utilizing the gift card for dirt bike parts and not giving this company any further business, I'm sad to say.

The new manager at SMS, Ty, is very helpful and wants to do the right thing by his customers. We brought in our Honda generator for service. Got it back and it was still leaking oil occasionally. Ty came out and picked up the generator because I could not bring it in. They looked at it and washed it inside and out only to discover the leak was due to the two-part engine case seal wearing out after 19 years. The problem is that it only leaks when it gets hot from running it several hours. They brought the unit back to me (5 miles north of NC) as I did not want to spend the money to repair it. They even changed the oil again. Thanks!

Price looked good so I ordered. Zero response from this company. They did charge me the $813.35 on my credit card but have not shipped. I needed product for a weekend family ride, Sierra f'd that up. STAY AWAY!! I wish I had read the reviews first. The good ones Sierra has are surely FAKE.

Their customer service is terrible. Don't go here. You are better off driving to Roseville
