I came here for one class and really enjoyed it. I was considering joining because my friend comes here every day and we can go to each others because there is one in my city too. Today she invited me and I pushed myself to get ready get everything together and drive the thirty mins to get there. I was running 5 mins late but when I got there parking was a nightmare. I got into the studio 10 mins late and the yogi at the desk informed me I couldn't go in "for safety reasons". I explained that I live far away and parking was bad today. Not really sure who I could hurt walking into a room. So be mindful you can't be late or you could be charged for wasting your own time. Luckily, he was kind enough to inform me he wouldn't charge me. Disappointed. Really made me reconsider spending $150/month if I'm a lil late, all the time I spent getting there will be wasted and I'll be charged on top of that? Maybe I'll check out the one in my city. Too bad, I really liked the yogi at the front desk when I attended his class, he was funny. Not so much today.

Time for an update.GoodLots of classesGood locationSome good instructors BadShowers are still cold af - not ideal when you're trying to get in a class before showering and heading to work There's always some oafy meatheads blabbing before class in the eveningThey've lost alot of their good instructors - they dont do enough to retain them

Great studio! A little hard to find, but it's upstairs from Old Navy. The showers and overall locker area is great after taking a hot class. The front desk was very welcoming. They offered me a towel and lock to use. The instructor was really good, a wonderful class. The first week is free which is nice and you can go to any CorePower as I understand.

Depending on my work schedule, I visit different CorePower yoga studios but I have to admit that Huntington Beach is my favorite studio. And not all yoga teachers are not created equally and the one that I like a lot is Olena who teaches at Huntington Beach. Olena's teaching style is precise and she teaches a very structured class and fun class. Her directions, demonstration of each exercise is crystal clear and she brings a nice energy into class and she also plays nice music throughout her classes - I can say that time flies when I am in her class and I always leave her class with a sense of gratification and satisfaction that I had an excellent workout. I always measure my exercise at any workout with MyZone heart rate monitor and the key to good exercise is staying in the yellow and red zone for a maximum fat burn and getting leaner body. Olena is one of the three instructors who can make me keep up such positive results by staying in two zone. Olena's teaching style can manage to keep you on top of the game at each class and she brings the best out of you. At least, I know that she does that for me; just look at how many minutes she kept me in the yellow and red zone.

Don’t go there is you are looking for yoga. Classes are extremely loud with rap music with jumping exercises. Even classes that state there are not heated are going to be heated so also extremely misleading overall experience if you want a burger, don’t go to McDonald’s go to burger place same here if you want Yoga don’t go to CorePower.

corepower yoga offers a week free trial which was actually very helpful in trying out their different classes.what i really like about corepower is that you are able to make changes to your booked classes up until 2 hours before class starts. i use classpass but they only allow changes up to 12 hours before! so i reallyy liked the flexibility of corepower.how it works is when you get there, you check in with your name at the front desk and then they will tell you what room you will be in, as well as whether you will need equipment (i.e. 2 blocks, yoga strap) which is provided in their class rooms.although i really do enjoy hot yoga, almost all of their classes are heated. i believe C1 and core restore are the only classes that are non-heated. however, the room will still feel warm due to the previous class being heated. this is one of the cons because i don't always want to be soo sweaty after a class. the bathrooms are nice and have showers as well as lockers. there are cubbies in the hallway outside of the classes to store your shoes. as for the classes, i tried out:- C2: good flow level class one step above C1 which is beginner. C2 is still beginner friendly with some more options to advance in poses.- hot power fusion: probably my favorite class they offer. it's a good beginner/moderate level class as well. i sweat the most in this class. - core restore: my least favorite. i would describe this as more meditative. we hold poses for a long time, anywhere from 2-3 minutes. i actually almost fell asleep multiple times. if you are looking for a workout, this is not the class. i did enjoy the ocean drum which the instructor walked around with at the end.

I joined the Corepower in Huntington Beach about a month ago. I go to Jill C corepower 1 class. I go to HPF class given by Jaideep and on Friday I go to Lisa G sound healing and restore class. All 3 teachers have been very professional and knows what they are doing. 5 stars to all. Plus the location is very clean and maintained.

I decided to check out a few yoga studios these next couple of weeks since I am very new and would like to learn the yoga practice. Corepower Yoga was one that was recommended to me by my partner. I took 3 classes total with multiple instructors that were great. However, on the website it mentions they have meditation classes and its a class I was interested in trying. When I looked at the schedule I saw that the meditation class wasn’t being offered during this time. I thought maybe the schedule changes and it’ll come up eventually. I stopped coming after three classes since I thought you get 1 week of classes (didn’t know it had to be consecutive) I was trying to save the rest of the days for the meditation class. I came today (the 8th day) and as I walked in Jill the instructor says “are you going to buy a membership because your week is up”. It wasn’t about the membership but just the way she said it. I went on to tell her I was looking for the meditation class and she rudely and disrespectfully said “I don’t know what you’re talking about we don’t have that here”… this went on for 5-10 minutes. I found it very weird how rude she was after I showed her the website & how confused I was on the class schedule. It didn’t look like she cared at all and just wanted to move on with her day. It wasn’t until I told her I was new and not sure what classes to take and what I was interested in that she switched her attitude and gave me suggestions but it didn’t seem genuine. I think there could have been a better way to let me know about the policies they have in place, as well as more information on these meditation classes and not talk to me in a condescending manner. Definitely will not be choosing this studio

My home away from home. I've been coming here for 7 years. The community is ahmazing.I've met so many wonderful people here. The yoga instructors are top notch. This place reminds me of "Cheers", where everybody knows your name. The instructors become friends. Today, Pilar chose to spend her bachelorette party with us yogis. You come for a workout, you leave being part of the corepower family. Also, it's nationwide, you can still practice corepower yoga when you travel.

I’ve been CPY member since 2009 and love all the Instructors as they do a wonderful job trying to keep us all in good health and conditioning with their awesomeness. I do want to take this moment in thanking Janet N for her efforts in catering the Sculpt session tonight to a high energy and strength sculpt session. Upon check in I had asked her to up level the session and she did just that. Thank you Janet from your new South African friend the other Kevin B

This is the best yoga studio in the area! Known for its helpful yogis, clean rooms, and amazing workouts, I definitely knew I wanted to try it out. Plus it's right in the middle of the Bella Terra Plaza next to Costco and Kohl's! I went a few times during my 7 day free trial and it has really convinced me to go all in and commit to being a yogi myself. I definitely recommend coming here even if you are new or old to yoga! They are welcoming of all levels and really cater to everyone in the room. I loved the pace the instructors were going at (even as a beginner) and it really seemed like everyone was a part of a supportive community. I got one of the best workouts I've had in a long time and really worked every muscle and joint in my body. Hands down I am so happy I decided to come here.

Just had the worst experience with STACY at this Corepower location. There was a huge firetruck blocking our parking and delayed us by a couple of minutes. Class started at 9:30am and bc of parking we got there at 9:33am. Ive come to class before and have been graciously allowed to enter by welcoming employees every time, as long as I’m within the 5 min grace period. And stacy refused to let us in with no remorse. I asked her to please allow us to enter this time and if they changed the policy, then I can take that into consideration next time. She was so mean and inconsiderate and completely ruined my perfectly nice Sunday morning. I can’t go to another class due to time and refuse to come here again because of such terrible customer service. She made me feel terrible.

Rude staff (Stacey)..disappointed with experience. CorePower yoga in SF was much better, but maybe overall quality has declined
