Tim is great. I don't like having frequent blood drawn to stay ahead of my health but he always makes me feel relaxed with his soft Hawaiian music playing and I'm a hard poke and he gets the vein every time without any problems. The office is clean and well organized.

Got appointment, arrived on time, got seen on time, everything was good, except the Phlebotomist stabbed my arm in a weird angle leaving a sharp pain and numbing sensation in the back of my wrist, it has been 3 days and it still hasn't gone away.

John thank you very much for being so expedient. You were very helpful. Check in was swift and expedient.

Wow, wow, wow! Got my blood test done for the first time in a long time (noticeable nervous) and Jim ( OR JONATHAN, MY MEMORY ISNT GREAT- white male with short hair, worked in blood test area with 11 years of experience) made it one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I am not one to write reviews often, but his level of understanding and comprehension was remarkable. Communicating to him that I was nervous, he quickly used knowledgeable tactics to try to distract me from my nervousness. He kept a full conversation going with me and went so far as showing me the process. It was surprising, it’s nearly impossible to find people who blow you away. Jim was so clearly happy with his job and helping people that it made such a difference on how this visit went. There’s not enough things I could say about the guy, he made clear connections in conversation and kept me distracted while EFFORTLESSLY doing the blood test. His level of skill is amazing, best I have ever seen. Can’t wait to get another blood test. If I owned this company - I’d give Jim (or Jonathan) a huge raise- he absolutely blew me away! This location was also clean and neat & had a VERY EASY check in process. You’re good if you’re going here!

Awful. Couldn't find the doctor's order. Non helpful. Unpleasant. Can't call and talk to a person. Ended up going to Hoag Outpatient Lab. They were great. Never returning to Quest.

This place is awful. I was told for a drop off I don't need an appointment. When I got here, there was nobody at the front desk. After 15 minutes, a worker arrived and says I have to sign in and wait for everyone who has an appointment to go first. I was told just to come in and drop it off.

I went to the Quest at 17742 Beach Blvd. in Huntington Beach branch last Aug. 28 to get extensive labwork done on my doctor's orders. She ordered Chem panels, CBC, lipid panel & various vitamin levels. These labs got sent then I got a message thru my patient portal on Sept. 4, that one of my labs was TNP - test not performed because the wrong specimen sample was sent by the CPT to Quest. He sent plasma instead of whole blood! You would think he would check all specimen requirements per test ordered before he drew me & sent them. Neither this drawing station or Quest Labs itself informed me of this error nor did they apologize, & I wouldn't have known if I didn't check my lab results on my patient portal! This delayed my treatment by about two weeks! This drawing station needs to do better!!

I've had a few pleasant visits at this Quest location! I try to make sure I get the first appointment of the day (8:10am). At my most recent visit, I had the 8:10am appt but they called me back even earlier at 8:05am. I was done by 8:15am. Honestly, don't go to a Quest without an appt. There's no way to know how long it will take to be seen. Also, Jonathan!! I've had him twice now as my phlebotomist and he's great. Very gentle, kind, skilled, and quick. Someone give my homie a raise!

Quest always has the nicest and most professional phlebotomist! They are always so nice. They are quick, and I never feel any pain or discomfort. They are the best and I recommend them for any bloodwork! ? Thank you Huntington Beach Quest!

I went to a new locale slightly further away from my Seal Beach location - checked in online using my app and was called within 2 to 3 minutes. What my technician lacked in friendliness, she made up for in skill and speed, which works for me 100% especially when you're getting blood drawn!

My doctor gave me a container for a lab sample with paperwork to "drop off at any Quest location". I assumed drop off meant drop off. I went to the HB location at 10 am, before work, to drop off my specimen. There was no one at the front desk and the large signs said to check in/sign in on the computer for an appointment. I thought I was just supposed to drop off my specimen. So, I said "hello?" twice, waiting for someone to come to the front. A tall man came up and basically admonished me for not having an appointment and saying "hello" because they were with patients in the back. He did not crack a smile and pretty much looked like he was disgusted with me. I'm in healthcare; in fact I was in my scrubs. We have a sign at our front desk when there is no one there letting people know we will be there shortly. There is no sign here. The man said if I pushed the "help" tab on the computer, they would be notified that someone is waiting. How the f would I know that? Anyhow, I could not drop off my specimen because they needed to log it in the computer so I needed an appointment. I went in the computer to make an appointment and the next available was 1:00pm. Then the same man came up and push the help button and basically logged me in as a walk in, next in line. He did not tell me this initially. So I waited for the next clinician. I went to sit down but ALL the chairs were filthy. Again, I am in healthcare and these chairs were not cleaned recently, maybe ever. So I stood waiting. I was called in pretty quickly by another clinician and he was nice. He took my specimen and logged it in the computer. He did not make me feel like a complete idiot. Long story short-know that you need an appointment, even for drop off and maybe go to a different location!

Had an appointment and took me in 1 min before. It was clean and the employees were polite. Gotta give a shout out to the man Johnathan who helped me out. Thank you sir for being extremely cool about my phobia of needles. I would give 6 starts if I could!

It takes months to make an appointment online or via phone. No reception in the office, all automated so walk-in isn't an option really either.
