I love this studio! You are always greeted with a warm smile. I am about to graduate from the 200 hour teacher training and it has been a wonderful journey. Christelle always has a positive attitude and is very welcoming to new students. They offer a variety of classes and you can choose which ones best suit your needs. I would absolutely recommend this studio to anyone.

I really love this gem of a studio -- and now it's really affordable, as the studio has become a collective, $10/class donation (cash only). I really like Katrarina, Kat and Christelle. Super positive teachers that offer different levels. Good ambiance and quiet location on Gothard.

Always been my favorite yoga studio, I did 200 hour teacher training. It is my safe place where you can do yoga without being judged or feeling competitive.

Always been my favorite yoga studio, I did 200 hour teacher training. It is my safe place where you can do yoga without being judged or feeling competitive. They recently changed the system to a “collective” where you pay the teacher per class and it makes it very casual with no contract. You just go and pay about $10 (depends on class). I got to take Christelle (my guru)’s class and she is so amazing at guiding you to feel each pose and breathing. You have this very elevated sensational feeling of clarity and relaxation. Truly heals you!!!

Rise yoga provides quality instruction and beneficial wellness events year round! They have classes gentle enough for those recovering from injuries too. I have not had a bad experience with any of the instructors; they are all well qualified and serene to be around. If your looking for a place that will help you improve mind, body and soul you can benefit from Rise's classes, peaceful environment, knowledgeable instructors and workshops. I absolutely love this place.

What an amazing studio!! If you are looking for a welcoming environment that caters to everyone from newbies to advanced yogis, look no further. Christelle and the team at Rise Yoga are the finest in their field, and have created a culture in their studio that encourages self-love & care. I highly encourage those in particular who are just starting out with their practice to get themselves some private lessons. You won't regret it!!

I am what Christelle calls a "Yoginner." The thought of Yoga to me was so intimidating. I thought I would be surrounded by Yogi pros, and I couldn't even touch my toes. Well, I was wrong and happy I went to Rise Yoga HB. They specialize in Yoginners, and made me feel comfortable...and they have a gong. How cool is that? Thank you!!

Rise Yoga is the best! I own a few gyms in HB and we refer all clients that are looking for more flexibility over to Christelle and her staff. She is located in a perfect spot that's in between all my gyms as well on Gothard St. She has a great starter offer as well and is always looking for Yoginners!

I'm glad so many people like this studio and found it welcoming. I did not find it so. Then again, I don't have a membership. I get class packages from Groupon. The instructors are experienced and fake nice I can agree but they don't offer any personalized instruction at all. I almost passed out doing a power vinyasa flow class because I got light headed from all the up and down movements. I am in great shape and yoga is not new to me but I am anemic. I lost balance pretty bad and almost fell over. I guess if I was laying there dead then someone would pay attention. The other students are not friendly but that is not the business' fault. I don't' know if I will be using the rest of my classes I bought, I just don't leave there happy nor renewed like I should.
