Grown employees acting like children. The reviews are true, the customer service is lacking and rude here. I was bombarded by an employee as soon as walking in yet every time I spoke she cut me off. How can I ask for help if you won't let me get a word out about what I'm looking for.. I figured I would find it myself and told her I didn't need help. She walked away and loudly gossiped with other employees and then came back over to "help" me again.. I grabbed my products, checked out and definitely won't be returning to this location. I don't think annoying the customer is the goal but if it is, congrats Pacific City Sephora!

My daughter, and I went in specifically looking for some hair repair and strengthening products for her, and something really fantastic and a face moisturizer for myself. We were so fortunate to have Gerry helping us find what we needed! She really went above and beyond for us. Maria at the checkout was very accommodating, when we asked her for my daughter's birthday gift. She said they were out but suddenly was able to find it. Yay. my daughter made it out with the hair products she was looking for and I made it out with probably the most expensive face cream in the world lol. We will always be back.

Denise was so helpful! I was in need of changing up my makeup, but I didn't really know what I needed. I love everything that Denise helped me pick out. Everyone who worked there was very helpful, which I really appreciate since I have no idea what I am doing in makeup stores

The customer service here is very bad, I’m new in the country and I had always wanted to go to a Sephora store so I made my account I was researching for a long time so I was excited to go also that day it was my birthday. So I went to the store trying to find out what I wanted and what I needed to have all the basics, Nobody helped me, they just made bad faces. However, I didn't buy anything because no one helped me and when I tried to exchange my free gift for my birthday, they made a very bad face and asked me a lot of questions and I felt like I was doing something wrong. The policy says that you should not make a purchase to redeem your gift (plus they are small samples, it is not a gift) I don't know why they made so much drama in order to give me a sample, maybe it is wrong not to buy and only exchange my gift?? but that was also something that made me want to visit the store. I thought that they cared about encouraging their customers with samples on their birthdays. Anyway, I regretted having done it, and that day I lost all of my interest in the store and I had no desire to return.

Wear a full face of makeup when you go in or you’ll be followed around the store by the manager, giving you dirty looks the entire time. The workers were helpful but the manager radiates mean girl energy.

The only problem with this store are the customers! As you can see by the comments, the rich Karens of OC were EVERYWHERE. Why do wyt people have no manners? Ugh. So gross. Okay. Kai was a freakin boss. She spent probably an hour with me making sure I found the right products. She is usually the aesthetician, but was helping the team with Black Friday. I'm so lucky I was able to snag time with her. I left with really great products and really great suggestions.

I felt so uncomfortable coming in here, the employees leave you no room to shop and constantly ask you if you need any help , even after you say no, and continue to recommend products you don’t want even if you clearly are showing signs you’re just there to look :( not a place for introverts, feels very obviously sales motivated too .

The rudest employees. Clearly don't care about about customer service. Only care about making sure they kick all their customers out, 2 min after closing time so they can go home. Would hate if those were my employees. Sad no one has work ethic

Ugh. Worst customer service ever! It doesn't really matter what happened. What matters is that the customer walks away happy. I did NOT walk away happy. Rude rude rude!!!

I walked in with the idea of finding a new primer. I walked in to two girls in the front laughing at something on one of their cell phones. I waited a few seconds in front of them to be acknowledged but they kept being preoccupied on their cell phone. I kept walking and ran into several employees that were standing without a customer not doing anything and none of them acknowledged me. One of them did acknowledge me eventually but she just looked at me give me a little fake smile and kept walking. I go to the Sephora in Anaheim often and this is a complete night and day difference from the service I receive there. There I am always acknowledged, usually several times, and always offered assistance.. I really wanted advice on a primer and felt quite unwelcome so I left without buying anything. I don’t know if it’s because I am in a more Caucasian area and happen to be Hispanic, or if these girls are just that clueless about customer service. But this is probably not somewhere I will return.

I recently went to this location to pick up a lipstick. I met Tony and Tony was so helpful and knowledgeable. Tony really made my experience wonderful and I will definitely be coming back! Sephora you are so lucky to have Tony working for you! Thank you!

I recently made an appointment for a focus feature (eyeshadow) and there was a mix up about my date. What I had thought I booked for sunday- the appointment was set for Saturday. NO PROBLEM because they girls were willing to accommodate and get me in! THANK YOU!! I met Kai and told her a little about my style and showed her a couple pictures of eyeshadow looks I was going for. IT CAME OUT PERFECT! Not only is Kai a great artist and truly listened to my wants but she was also so pleasant to chat with. I really enjoyed our time together! Thank you to the team at SEPHORA for fixing this mistake regarding times and thank you Kai for making me feel so darn beautiful!!
