Lots of really terrible, badly run pharmacies in the area....and unfortunately this is one of them. The aisles are tiny and some of the front aisles are overloaded with candy, etc. but they were out of so many actual health-related pharmacy items. The store overall looked as if a windstorm had blown through - just badly organized and a mess. The self-checkout register didn't work at all (I know how to use one, but this one malfunctioned) and operation of the cash register seemed to be completely beyond the capabilities of the very confused and distracted employee at the front - who also appeared to be the only person there. Won't go back to this location.

I'm writing this to kill time while I continue to wait in the pick up prescription line. I've been waiting 15 minutes and the line has moved by 2 people, probably because there is only 1 person behind the counter and he keeps stopping to take new prescriptions. Get some more help!!!(Starting to wonder if it would be faster to go to a different pharmacy and have them call here to get it transferred. I will not be coming back here, for sure.)

Used to be a good pharmacy. Now they are totaled screwed up. Say they have your prescription then you go there and they say the prescription is expired. What the hell. Screwed up place !!!! One time I went there and I couldn't even understand the person trying to help me !!! What's up ?

Store does not honor on-line pricing according to the store manager. I had to go on line, place the order at the lower price and then wait for a text message indicating that the order was ready for pick up. I then picked it up at the same store that refused to honor the on-line pricing. Based on this POOR business practice, I'm moving all of my prescriptions to Walgreen's pharmacy.

My PA prescribed Tramadol to me for severe Sciatic pain. I waited a week to open the bottle because I had not needed the extra pain management. There were only eight pills in the bottle but it said that there were 21 of them. The pharmacy said that they couldn't help me and basically accused me of stealing them or something . I explained that I was going to Paris for ten days and that is the only reason I asked for pain medicine from my orthopedist. I now have only eight pills for the entire trip. Thus pharmacy has a photo of 21 pills on a counter next to a bottle and they claim that is proof I got them. Apparently the pharmacy tech stole 13 pills and only gave me eight. I have called the district manager. I have never had anything like this happen before. Don't use this pharmacy and if you make the mistake of going to them , require them to count out your medications while you watch.

This place is dirty, the bathrooms are not to mention the super dirty floor and the cashier is not friendly at all.

Some CVS's are better than others: bigger selection, always stocked, well-staffed... This isn't one of them. Sure, it's the one I always go to because it's nearest where I live, I save a ton with all their coupons, and it's fine for most personal hygiene and OTC medication essentials. I'll even give the pharmacy props for managing vaccine/booster appointments promptly on schedule, unlike other locations. And the self checkout registers usually work. But every time I go, there is at least one thing on my list they're out of (and which they remain out of perpetually). For my face wash I have to go elsewhere or order online, and the travel section is consistently half bare. They also have, it seems, precisely one shopping basket, which you might find in the "pile" by the entrance occasionally, if you're lucky. If you do need a person to ring you up, or if you encounter an error doing self-checkout, be prepared to wait for an employee to walk up front.

The slowest and least conscientious filler of prescriptions of any CVS (or Rite-Aid or Walgreen's for the matter) that I've encountered in the state of California. Every time, I've driven there many times (and it's not next door) to find the pharmacy staff befuddled about why it's not yet ready. Even during slower periods of day, it takes days and weeks to get a prescription filled. And I'm only intermittently notified by text. Really not on top of things. (That said, the pharmacist herself has given me some knowledgeable and caring advice, so I do want to acknowledge the good alongside the bad.)

I could not be more disappointed with a pharmacy/pharmacists than this CVS here in Indian Wells. They're always indignant, they're always understaffed and their pharmacists are basically incompetent. They treat you with such complete and utter distain and disrespect. Unfortunately I do live here in the area and they have been my pharmacist for the last five years. It's convenient because of the location but inconvenient because of the incompetency and the rudeness. And they are consistent!

this place is a joke. The pharmacy (pharmacist "Sherril D.") was such a rude witch all we wanted was to pick up medication for our elders. Terrible service. We were denied paperwork and a consult about our medication and rushed and shooed away from the pharmacy like we were zombies infected, it was atrocious to say the least. My bestie works for the board of Pharmacy and is lodging a complaint against her. I strongly advise to heed the warning when dealing with this pharmacy. The employees seem non existent in this store and the ones we could find could care less. Terrible treatment of patients/consumers who are getting medication. The woman in front of us was picking up her prescript for her elderly father who just got out of the hospital and this "Sherril" yelled at her to "Hang on a second!" Seriously? is this place for real? Judging by the looks of the yelp reviews this troll has been getting away with mistreating her consumers and denying people consult and proper dosing instructions, that's not acceptable and rather strange it's allowed to continue for over 6 years at this location. Folks: if you are in the area and have to pick up a certain medication that's only available here, be warned and feel free to lodge a complaint against the troll behind the counter. She hates people and her job so much, she should be replaced by someone who cares about the consumer. Not giving someone their directions to take a medicine or consulting is ridiculous mistreatment and rather dangerous and a liability.

This pharmacy is so disorganized. I was hung up on after waiting on hold 3 times for over 20 minutes each time. The pharmacists charged me the wrong price for my prescription and gave me the wrong size . Then she Would not give me a refund because had already walked out of the pharmacy by the time I figured it out they had changed me the wrong price. This was their error not mine!

I scheduled my Covid Booster online... was so impressed when immediately after I got an email appointment for my online calendar and the day before received a reminder text. I arrived on time... checked in... and moments later the nurse came out from the pharmacy area to give me my booster shot. And just like that I was on my way. Great experience !

This is strictly a review about the pharmacy. The older woman with glasses is always so unpleasant, in person, on the phone, she really must hate her life and she brings that attitude to work with her. Horrible customer service skills. Get your RX filled at a different CVS, I know I am.

This review is only for the incredible service and staff when receiving vaccinations. They were actually happy to see us and there was nothing fake about it. It was also streamlined and organized. Two huge thumbs up if you need to schedule a COVID19 vaccination or you can even walk in. My daughter received both Pfizer's there, while my wife received two Pfizer's and the Moderna booster.
