How about Red starts releasing the patent for raw video, and stop suing Nikon…I urge everyone to buy Nikon products instead of Red. Cinematographers, photographers, influencers, etc…How about putting in some effort into making affordable products.

Made a purchase for a Komodo production pack. Was told that the transaction wasn't approved by their "merchant services" for "undisclosed reasons" and they needed a wire transfer instead. The problem is, on my end, everything cleared and I already paid off the purchase, so the money is already gone from my bank account. Now they're saying the refund could take up to 30 days to process. So now I'm going to be out nearly $10k for a month. And when it is refunded the credit card will have a bunch of extra credit on it and no money in my account. RED must think indie filmmakers are just made of money or something. This is beyond frustrating. I'm done. Thanks for being the final straw to get me to finally give up on indie filmmaking.

Their sales reps don't get any nicer, kinder, and amazing-er. I've been buying from RED since 2013 and the various reps assigned to me have all been nothing short of the best of the best of the best, sir! They also make an amazing product as well. :)

Proud new parent of a RED Dragon-X 6K S35 camera system, which I picked up from RED HQ in Irvine because I wanted to see where the magic happens. My sales rep personally greeted me in the lobby, personally delivered all my equipment, and also gave me a mini-tour of the RED manufacturing facility. The factory is very impressive and you know you are somewhere special. The ordering process was easy and the build quality of the products is insanely great. My expectations were exceeded. 10/10 would visit and buy again.

Can get better footage using an iPhone 7. Camera game weak here. Takes months to get back a camera sent in for warranty, if you get it back at all.

Stopped by to get some film processed and scanned. Staff was super nice and got everything done quickly. Got the scans today and they're wonderful. Fast and affordable. Student discount is also a plus. Definitely going to be my go to spot to get my color film developed.

RED offers a quality product and outstanding customer service. Based on my personal experience, I can say they have the best customer service I have ever encountered - in any industry. Maybe that's because they are relatively small. But, a lot of it has to do with genuine commitment and a desire to help the customer. We've always had direct access to a top tier RED technician. Within minutes, we can have an issue resolved simply by calling them. Yes, they have a phone and real, smart, compassionate humans working there. When you have a RED camera, you also have an exceptional support team.
