When I bought my 80 Series Landcruiser it was to use it for its intended purpose, and while they are more than capable from the factory, I mapped out an upgrade path that would allow me to follow my friends in their Jeeps running 37s anywhere they went (with my rig on 33s).
Selecting quality parts isn't nearly as hard as finding a shop you trust to install them though, and that is really where Chris and his team at Rock Tech shine. Chris took the time to understand my goals, offer suggestions based off of years of experience, and most importantly, deliver on time (a bit ahead of time, actually). There were no surprises because they did their homework regarding any ancillary parts it would take, and they went the extra mile to solve a fitment issue with the wheels. They installed a suspension kit, front and rear bumpers and my wheel/tire combo, all perfectly. I have a few thousand off road miles on it now, with no squeaks or loose bolts.
I live in south OC, and there are plenty of shops around, but any future upgrades I make will be well worth the trip back to Rock Tech. Thank you guys!!

I have had a lot of work done by this shop and will never go anywhere else. I can honestly say that I have never taken my Jeep back to have something redone as it has always been done right the first time. Chris, the owner has been great to deal with, and the prices were fair. Even though it’s a bit of a haul to get there for me, i will always use Rocktech for all future needs.Service: Steering & suspension repair

This is an edit to my 1st post below. I knew I wanted AEV products and Chris helped me narrow down and choose what was right for my needs. Like my previous post, he took his time with me, answered my emails & calls. I appreciated his thoroughness & professionalism. He even told me to hold off on some other things until I was ready for them. After I picked up my rig, Chris went through the build with me to make sure I knew how everything worked and If I had any questions. He told me to come back in 250 miles so he could do quality check and retorque any bolts that needed it, even though he used loctite on them.I went to another Jeep shop in Glendale to install some minor things before I found Rock Tech. They gave me a quick estimate but didn't spend the time with me like Chris did. My experience with Chris was far superior. I am so happy with my build and I get complements all the time. Thanks Chris!PREVIOUS POSTI called Rock Tech Offroad and spoke with Chris about installing a Goose Gear rear seat delete. Goose Gear recommended him because he was a Jeep specialist. He took the time to make sure we ordered the correct version for my 2022 Gladiator Overland Diesel. When I dropped it off we talked about the install and also about installing a AEV 2.5 DualSport XP Suspension, 35' Falken tires and AEV Savegre II rims. He explain the difference between the DualSport RT and the DualSport XP Suspension as well as the different tires to choose from. I did some research before hand but after talking to Chris I felt like I made the right decision for my Jeep and what I was going to use it for. I made the purchase and can't wait for the lift, tires & rims to be installed. He also recommended some tips to keep my diesel running great. I will update with pictures after it gets done. In short, if you’re looking for a home for all your jeep needs, you found it.With a few more details, my Jeep needed some TLC and Chris was very knowledgeable, professional and straight to the point. Got me in and taken care of the first time. Spark plugs and other engine issues…I trusted him and liked his work so this time I came back and changed my tie rod and drag link and did a few other things to my rig. It was all perfect.Chris will lay down your options and let you make your own decision. He’s not gona upsell you or push you on a product. He does things the right way and by the book.Communication via email was great. Provided lots of information. Very efficient timing as well. Very satisfied and my next mod I’ll be trusting Chris to do it for me.Now I’m ready to get back on the trails to find camp spots. See y’all out there. Give me a tug lol

My boyfriend and I stopped in today to get our 2019 Jeep Rubicon serviced and get a price quote for a lift. Chris was extremely helpful and patient when he explained to me what he thought, which turned out to be right about what was wrong w/my Jeep Wrangler JK. I really liked and felt comfortable that he was very familiar with Jeeps. All in all, I highly recommend going to Rock-Tech Offroad.

I am new to owning a Jeep but knew I wanted to modify it once I got it. Part of my research before getting my Jeep was talking to several owners and shops that work on off-road vehicles. Growing up in the area, I never knew Rock Tech Offroad was near me. I spoke to Chris, the owner, who took time to answer my questions reference Jeeps, even though he was busy, he still gave great customer service. In speaking with several people who are into offroading, several of them knew Chris and said he was the best and very knowledgeable. I decided to use Rock Tech Offroad and it was the best decision I made. Originally, I just wanted a winch, but Chris explained that I should also do the lift kit at the same time due to the added weight. The explanation made sense so I went with the AEV DualSport 2.5 Lift. I noticed part of the work was to add a new front Yeti Steer Smart Trackbar. This was enough needed for the lift kit, but I figured if it was going to be in the shop, might as well do a better build now instead of later, so I added the rear trackbar and upgraded the whole steering. Chris ensured me it was good build and that was the way to go, but the decision was mine. I liked the fact that Chris was not pushy about making a sale, just wanted to make sure my Jeep would run excellent with quality products and service. Since my initial build, I have spoken with Chris on future mods I want to do, which he has helped me by prioritizing certain mods before others and explaining why. Chris is definitely very knowledgeable and I truly respect his advice and recommendations and know he will not steer me wrong. Not only that, the quality of work and professionalism of the shop is superior. Rock Tech Offroad is definitely the place to go for your offroad builds and needs. I will continue to use Rock Tech Offroad for my future mods to my Jeep.

After having Chris work on my JK in the past, had to come back and have him work on my JL. Picked up my rig this morning and the build came out fantastic, wouldn't have it any other way. Chris is very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend getting in touch with him for any of your off road equipment/services. I had a list of parts that I wanted to add to the build and Chris suggested to not waste my money. Chris is straight forward and I appreciate that. Since the shop is always busy, it's best to reach him via email. He will respond. Just be patient. Note: ordering parts right now will take time as everything is backed ordered. Best to plan ahead.
