I have been a Wescom member for many years, and the service has always been outstanding. However, over the last few months there have been several issues that have been unacceptable. First, i had to have my credit card reissued due fraudulent transaction. The card was requested right away but it has been over 4 weeks and the new card has not been received. When Zo contacted the branch, i was told that the credit card manufacturer was having issues with their machinery and they were backlogged. I can understand that, but my autopay items linked to the credit card were disrupted, and I had to contact companies to resolve payment. It is now going on 6 weeks, and I have not received the new credit card. I called the branch again. I was told the card was sent at the end of December. So now it's a post office issue???? This just doesn't seem possible. When i attempted to use online chat to resolve issue, online chat is not available. The Wescom rep said they were having issues since the moved to a new system. Again this is unacceptable. I hope Wescom fixes these issues as they are affecting Wescom Members. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated that Wescom has allowed this issues to continue for so long.

I have been a Wescom member since before the changes their name to Wescom. Had other accounts elsewhere before but this CU is the best. Closed all other accounts and this is it for many many years. Thank you Wescom.

I love the Wescom in Pasadena CA. I've come to trust them well over the years, and with my recent car loan they did not let me down. I walked into the bank unannounced and sat with an agent right away. (They are hard to reach over the phone, and forget making an appointment online.) Two hours later I walked out with an approved loan of $15,000 after my down payment. In the past Wescom gave me a smaller loan to get my teeth fixed and totally accepted my paying it off early. They also came through when someone washed and forged a check I'd written for $200+ more than it was originally--they'd cashed it at one of those quick cash stores. Wescom tracked it and put the money back into my account.

BEWARE!! STAY AWAY FROM WESCOM!! Want a bank that allows scammers to charge your account and then have that said bank side with the scammers? Then sign up for an account with Wescom. I've been a customer with them since 2009. Never had any issues until I had a scammer incorrectly charge my Wescom credit card while in Mexico this past April. I never signed anything nor provided a PIN number. I also had 3 witnesses to confirm what I was supposed to be charged. I immediately contacted Wescom to report this fraudulent charge and they refused to block it. There was not contact information for the scammer but somehow they claimed to have contacted the scammer to confirm the charge? Yeah, I don't think so. Wescom basically sided with the lies of a foreign scammer over their American customer of over 10 years. I've now had to file a complaint with the California Attorney General's office as well as BBB. My credit is now at risk of being hit with a collections report because Wescom refused to block and remove a fraudulent charge. I have never had any issues with my other credit card companies when I've had fraudulent charges. Even American Express and Bank of America confirmed that they would have blocked and/or reversed the charge. I've never been more disgusted with a company. Wescom HATES their customers and will refuse to help you in any way should a scammer steal money from your account. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!

I'm a long time Wescom customer. Over the years the customer service has gone down hill. It isn't the agents, it is their phone system and the processes the agents must follow. When you call their phone system you have to navigate a complex menu system (takes way to long to actually get into the queue of the department you need). Then you are looking at a unreasonable hold time (MINIMUM 15-20 minutes). Usually, then you get transferred to another person and wait on hold again! Luckily, I don't have to call them very much...but the frustration when i do is too much. I have been hung up on too! It's sad but I'm considering leaving Wescom due to the frustration. I called Wescom and wrote this entire review while waiting on hold. So far I have been on hold for 20 minutes. NOT acceptable. I'll I'm trying to do is correct the Apple Pay verification number they are using (it is a very old number of mine that I've asked them to correct repeatedly).

Not a fan at all. First they make you wear a m a s k in the place (Orange County is not a county with a mask mandate currently), and they wouldn't let me deposit a personal check made out to myself and my wife. Lol she doesn't have an account here and it has my name on it.

I love the greeter. Such a gentleman and very classy. Always looking his best. It's always nice to see him. The workers there are very kind and sweet. Super friendly. They get the job done. It's really easy and they communicate well with you. Like they already know why you are there. Which is very neat. It's been over five years since I have been going to this bank and never have I left upset. Or even a complaint. They are great. Good job. Also, the place is very clean and neat. Such a safe environment.

I had been associated with this branch for 15 plus years.I am really impressed with the professionalism displayed by all the employees at this branch.On several occasions they had gone beyond the call of duty to take care of my request. Keep up the good work!

I've been a member for more than 20 years and my family even longer and I've recommended around 11 people to Wescom and we're happy with their service esp with Autumn and their financial consultants.My mom is particularly happy with Gary Chow her financial advisor (need to set an appt with him as well).We've had Auto loans and other investment with this bank and no problem so far.
