They really didn’t have that many games and a lot of them were broken. The personal pizza was subpar and really pricey. Will probably go to a different location next time.

This was so much fun! I currently work at another loacation that has updated games and interior and no more stage :( so it was so much fun to go to a location with a stage even though the animatrocis no longer work still super cool to see. This is the chucke i remeber as a kid and suprisngly it was so much fun , the food was amazing and so was the cheesey bread and the manager was super nice and friendly , we also came when it was not so busy so it was amazing but so mamy fun games and I loved the vintage vibe of the whole location.

This place deserves 4 money symbols for how expensive it is 23 dollars for 30 minutes it used to be 20 dollars for 3 hours its gotten so expensive no wonder chuck e cheeses are closing down and are always dead, i wish they kept the coins and tickets to why change to cards defeat the whole purpose of an arcade...i miss my

I was appalled at the safety. Someone stamped us when we got there, but after that the door was unattended. People came and went without checking. So much for child safety.

they've really upgraded since covid!! they used to have small one sided tables but the open ended ones make grabbing the food then going back to have fun a breeze. the Pizza was perfect and the WINGS were AWESOME! we only saw 3 dudes working and even that wasn't bad. all 3 were hard working and polite!

Fun place and staff but beware when you order because every time I come here they are short on kitchen staff and it takes an hour or more to get food.Parking: Handicap parking availableKid-friendliness: Fun friendly staff

We went for a birthday party and I had low expectations because we had gone to Chuck E. Cheese at another location and it was a meh experience. This location however has good food, we had pizza and wings. And the kids had a blast ? running around playing all the games.

This Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza in La Mesa, California opened on August 2, 1993 with a 1-Stage. They still feature both the Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza sign and the 1-Stage, although the 1-Stage is in very poor condition (as of recent, all 5 characters are completely non-functioning, and their movements are swapped when they were functioning (i.e. Munch does Pasqually's movements). This location is the last Chuck E. Cheese location in the world to feature the Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza sign on the exterior (the Altoona, Pennsylvania has a plaza sign with the CECP wordmark, but they have the 2005 Remodel interior and 2005 Remodel exterior). I have actually been to this location, which I visited on May 19, 2019, before they replaced the 90s art in the showroom with 2005 Remodel art from another store.). This store turned 30 years on August 2, 2023, and a new Chuck E. Cheese in the nearby City of Santee opened on September 18, 2023 (Santee's CEC is 15 minutes away from La Mesa's CEC). La Mesa will remain open despite the location in Santee opening, although La Mesa will close by at least 2025 as their lease expires and Grossmont Center is redeveloped.

Waited an hour to get a "large" pizza. Was a kids size pizza. Did eventually got a large, which took less than 5 minutes.Restrooms were disgusting, toilets didn't flush. Soap all over the counter. Then the animatronics didn't work. Will not be coming back to this location.

Very disappointing. They are out of chicken wings, PIZZA SAUCE and no salad bar. We decided to stay because our 4 y/o grandson had already become excited to play games. We ordered the appetizer sampler that supposedly served 4 but…..I guess they meant 4 small children. Order was wrong when it came out. The employee working the counter was very sweet and apologetic for the lack of pizza, wings, etc. So, we spent $70 on a tiny appetizer sampler, a few drinks and a 60-minute pay card. They replaced the wings that were wrong with tiny burnt ones. Such a waste of money. There seemed to be a manager (assuming) who was lingering near the food pick up area and saw when we received our burnt chicken and walked the other way. Lesson learned. Should’ve read the reviews beforehand
