Journey is an excellent church if you’re a seasoned Christ-Follower or if you’re just looking for your first church community. They offer so many opportunities to grow in your life and with God. You will feel welcomed and accepted no matter where you are in your walk with God.

It was an odd experience. I felt welcomed upon coming, nice people serving their church. But I never got the feeling they were being given the Word. I attended for a few weeks and not much was given from a decent man (Pastor Ed Noble). There seemed to be a personal experience and almost a prosperity gospel being taught here. There was one week I attended and a guest was brought up from out of the count y and he was speaking to his own experience about healing. And how everyone is intended to be healed in the present physical sense. But that was not really biblical. Also they spoke to if two or more pray in my name they shall get what they want. But then I thought what if what two or more pray outside the Will of God. God doesn’t necessarily physically make everyone alright. The Will of God is for us to know Him and choose Him and love and worship Him knowing that joy is a better way to live than happiness. Happiness is dependent upon circumstances. Joy is what is within us despite these circumstances and that even while in pain or suffering we carry with us joy in Christ, knowing that He suffered for us. So I just couldn’t really wrap my head around that day and I couldn’t get behind the lack of putting priority of scripture above thoughts and ideas. This isn’t a bad church, just one I couldn’t quite stick with.

I love the pastor, the other leaders, classes, events, and kids ministry so I can enjoy the service. The worship before and after service is beautiful as well. A creative, mellow but lively happy church. They help the homeless in the community and offer newbies opportunities to get to know others. You can even have someone pray for you after every service. I would recommend a visit to check out for yourself.

This church is a good church to begin your walk in Christ. Many of the people attending are new Christians and working out their faith and their hope. This Church offers discipleship classes which helps us to understand what it means to relate and to connect to God in a patient way and involving way. No church is perfect. But they do care for the "unchurched"... In other words maybe you didn't grow up attending church. They just accept you and they allow you to grow the way God allows it . They just opened a new Elementary School for the children and they support sending kids to summer camp with scholarships.
