Dear World Market Customer Service,
I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the experience I recently had while attempting to make a return at your store.
From the beginning, I was treated with a complete lack of professionalism and courtesy. Instead of receiving assistance, I was met with dismissive and disrespectful behavior that left me feeling not only unheard but also unwelcome. A return should be a straightforward process, yet I was made to feel as though I was inconveniencing your staff simply by following store policy.
Customer service is the face of any business, and unfortunately, this experience has reflected very poorly on World Market. I have always enjoyed your products, but after this incident, I am left questioning whether I should continue shopping at your store. No customer should ever walk away from a simple return feeling disrespected and disregarded.
I strongly urge World Market to address this issue with your team to ensure that no other customer is treated in such an unprofessional manner. I expect not only an apology, but also reassurance that steps will be taken to improve the way customers are treated.

Cost Plus World Market in Greenbrae is a fantastic stop when we drive north from San Francisco on weekends. We enjoy shopping for the unique items they offer and picking up our favorite products. The store is spacious and features a wide variety of items, including furniture, wine, and jams.
I appreciate shopping at Cost Plus World Market because they have a diverse range of products that are hard to find elsewhere. There’s something for everyone, from special furniture pieces to delicious wines and jams. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the store is easy to navigate, making it simple to find what I need. It's a wonderful place to discover unique items that enhance our weekend trips.

This World Market is in Greenbrea, CA, and right off the Redwood Highway. I'm not a local resident. But I sure do like to stop in and check out the inventory. I'm a long time World market customer, and huge fan of their merchandise. This location has a pretty large inventory ranging from furniture (living room, dining, desks), home decor, curtains, rugs, beer and wine, imported food, jewelry, kitchenware, gift items, etc.
The shopping center parking lot is a hot mess though. Especially on the weekends, there seem to be more customers than parking spaces. Plus since there is only one way in and out, and the street has no designated turn lane, it causes a bottleneck on entering and exiting. Heck it even takes awhile to walk from the parking lot into the shop because the cars just don't seem to want to stop for pedestrians. Too busy jockeying for a space.

A very nice store with well-made furniture at good prices, plus a fun-to-browse assortment of food and sundries. Staff just could not have been any nicer--thanks for making sure the chair fit in my car, and got home safely in the rain!

Well first of all this is the best WM I've been to, it's obvious why! WINE BAR in store with up to 3 FREE tastings!!!!! Not only that they carry some of my go to faves from Amador County! Sobon & Shenandoah and Michael David 6th Sense Syrah from Lodi! Amongst many others, and the prices are fair and competitive with my Sonoma County staple #BottleBarn. Re-navigating Marin and making new discoveries

All the products sold in the store, such as Halloween goods and Christmas decorations that are not sold in Japan, are so attractive that you will forget the time has passed!The staff will also be happy to talk to you. It's kind of you to give it to me. This is a store I would like to visit again.

I used to love Cost Plus as a kid and as I grew up. They always had the most interesting things from around the world at the cheapest prices. Well these days nothing is cheap anymore and over the years (and esp since the pandemic,) they don't have as much merch anymore. But it's still a fun place to go especially if you're looking for specialty foods from around the world. If you're a chocoholic like me, they have chocolates from all over Europe. My particular weakness has always been the original Cadbury chocolate from England (trust me, it's so much better than American Cadbury) They also have a lot of specialty teas, spices, sauces, you name it. Right now is a great time to go for foodie Christmas gifts, as they have a great variety and some things you cannot find in most other places. Also worth mentioning, they have an entire separate room for wines / alcohol. I wanted to give a special shout out and thank you to a sweet employee there named Bobby. My hands were full of goodies that I wasn't planning on buying and he walked up to me with a hand basket and a smile saying he didn't want me to drop my phone with my hands full. He held the basket as I put my things in then handed it to me. He introduced himself, gave me a fist bump and told me to have a wonderful day. What a sweet person.

Best of Marin!!! This is the best place to have wine in Marin during the day. I love this wine bar and Lisa is Amazing. The wine is only $5.00 a glass and the cheese plate is big and only $7.00. These are not Marin prices!!!!My Sister and I love to pop in on a Friday around 6 and the shop. When you come, make sure to mention you heard about it from Tracy. . MUCH Marin Magic.
