I have been going back and forth on if I wanted to leave a review or not because I genuinely am so happy with my car and John (who sold the car to me) and Mike in Finance who did all of the legal paperwork. The only reason I’m leaving a review that’s not 5 stars is because for the last 4 days I’ve been PANICKING. I can’t get the website to work to pay my car, I’ve called every number available to call. I’ve gone in person, I’ve left 4-5 voicemails. It’s stressing my poor co-signer out. I don’t know how to make an in person meeting because every time I go they are busy (which is really good!) but it’s now getting close to the time where my car needs to be paid. If I’m late how do I even explain that it’s not my fault because the system keeps declining my card that has more than enough money on it for my car payment. I’m hoping ANYONE gets back to me before it’s too late. So far the first month of owning my car has been fantastic and amazing, every interaction I’ve had with John and Mike has been fantastic. It’s just stressful and concerning that no one is finding the urgency to help me pay my car before it’s too late.

I was helped in time to make an on time payment!! I don’t think I’ve ever been that stressed ever but someone from Honda called me fixed everything, and now that I can pay for my shiny new car let me post a pic of her because I’m OBSESSED!!

I purchased a vehicle in July of this year. It is November and it is still unable to be registered because of their mishandling. This is the most unprofessional dealership I have ever encountered. It all started with a pansy of a salesman who then used his personal email to ask for information after purchasing the vehicle. Followed by the financial services director who tried her best to take care of the controllers job but absolutely failed. Thankfully, they hired a new controller, but she still can’t fix the problem. It has been four months and I am still unable to register my vehicle. I will never be purchasing a vehicle from the dealership and will make it my life’s purpose for the next month to ensure that all of you know the headache I have been through with them for the last four months. Do not purchase a vehicle here.

So I’ve waited two weeks now to post this. I thought I would let some time pass and I’d feel different, but I don’t. The sales manager, Steve, took it upon himself to run a credit check, without permission or even a heads up. The only reason I even found out, was because he told a family member of mine. When I called back to ask for an explanation, he was extremely rude and defensive and said that my family members all but told him to. False, they never spoke to him about it. And even if they did, he never contacted me or asked my permission. His response was, “The horse is out of the barn now. I can’t take it back. You may as well just accept my apology and go about your day…”
I then called back to speak to Steve’s boss, the owner, he was on vacation, HR told me he would contact me on Tuesday.. that was 7 days ago, and I still have not heard back from them. I will not recommend them to anyone else after this.

Leased our CRV here, promises were made that were not kept. Will not recommend nor will I return to this dealership for service or sales.This industry of buying cars from dealers will one day not exists, I for one can’t wait, sick of dealing with sales reps, managers and the greed incorporated with automotive sales. Seamless, automated and with out the fat gross fat cost of making a purchase. AI technology, please hurry, impatient consumer here.

I lease a 2023 Honda Civic Sport and was planning on buying out my vehicle. Since a friend was buying a car at that location, I decided to speak with a salesman while I waited and he quickly got an appointment for that same week.
I went in, and Jonathan was assisting me with that process. They ran my credit, got approved and got a quote. At that time I was owing $19,075.82 (quote provided directly from Honda Financial Services).
I don’t know why but in the quote the dealership gave they were charging me $21,075.00 just for the vehicle price. On top of that they added insurance gap $995 and Service Contract $3,495.00 and some other fees totaling $28,174.25 with a 6.50% APR 48 months term.
I asked if I could remove any of the items added and Jonathan told me only the insurance gap could be removed. As for the service contract it was mandatory for anything over $10,000.00. I told him I would go home and talk to my husband. He was cool but very persistent and wanted to close the sale in the same day.
I went home, did my research and found out insurance gap and service contract are not mandatory but an option. I decided I didn’t want to do business with them anymore because he lied to me, it wasn’t fair.
I applied for a loan at my credit union, got approved same day for a 4.5% APR and let Jonathan know I found a better offer. He called me a couple times, texted me affirming I wouldn’t be able to finance my car though any credit union, it had to be through Honda, which I found very weird since I had already got approved for the loan. So I contacted Honda Financial Services and clarified that, and they assured me as long as my credit union is willing to lend me the money, I should be able to do it.
It’s a shame how such a good dealer as Honda can be represented by people with no character whatsoever. I understand they need to work and make money but lying is not the right way to do it. Not everybody can afford buying a car nowadays and with people like that in the business just make it harder.

First of all, I wish I would have read the reviews for Rocket Town Honda before we purchased a used 2025 vehicle from them. I would have not bought from them. They insist on getting way too much information I.e. social security number, driver ‘s license, credit information, etc. We told them from the start we were paying cash. After we took the car home, we noticed some body damage on the vehicle. Rocket Town, I am sure saw it before and did not say anything. Bottom line we have to pay $2,000. plus for body repairs on a $50,000. plus vehicle. Shortly after we bought the vehicle, we received a letter that our vehicle loan application was turned down due to lack of credit history?!? WE PAID CASH and have an excellent credit rating and never applied for a vehicle loan. Talking to the Rocket Town finance department did no good. The one man I talked to and complained about the credit application information said “sounds good” when he hung up.

Came to the service center with my sons vehicle when i was greeted by Jose M. At the service deskI have to say very professional and helpful same as the other gentleman next to him Jacob they both answered and were very helpful to us. I really appreciate great customer service A+⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ definitely recommend these guys if you have any issues or questions about your Honda Vehicle.

I had a great sales experience when I purchased a car from them in 2017. However 7 years later I still receive emails and texts from them despite my multiple attempts to unsubscribe. Every time they get a new salesperson, it appears their system lets them go through all of the dealership’s old contacts. I called and asked them to delete my information because I don’t live in the state at all. I clicked unsubscribe on the emails. I texted back STOP. I still get spammed by their salespeople.
I called and asked for the sales manager and left a detailed message. He has not responded at all and it has been a week. I find the lack of accountability very unprofessional and contacted the FTC to list them as spam.

P.S. Customers can read your responses on here and the way you talk to people is absolutely insane. Great business practices.

Super easy process !!! Who else hates haggling and going back and forth when buying a car. Well I sure do and let me tell you that this was the fastest and easiest car buying experience I have ever had. I knew what I wanted and the price was right. Left with the exact car I wanted for my princess. Thank you Rocket town Honda for making a birthday girl very happy. You have earned a loyal customer. See you again soon.

We had both our cars serviced at this location for the three years that we lived in Lompoc and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Their prices are pretty high, but that’s California for you. I believe that they were fair and always informative of any issues we were running into with our vehicles.

They added the wrong transmission fluid on my vehicle. To "fix", which we know will not completely flush out the incorrect fluid, they did a 1-time fluid flush. I did not get a refund nor extended warranty. They seem to do the bare minimum.
I will certainly be calling Honda HQ to file a complaint.

Great staff nice people
