Seven stalls were not working so there was a long wait. This is unacceptable. Poor Tesla service.

this place is hard to find as the signage and tesla directions on screen are not helpful. it’s off a private road behind a large building and can’t be seen from hwy 395

The scenery was good, so the charging time was not boring.

I venture to the mountains pretty often and so happy that the city of Lone Pine has a Tesla Supercharging station here. Surprisingly NOT busy at 7AM on a Sunday, as I was powering up before heading back home.ABSOLUTELY thee BEST views in general and of Mount Whitney here. Of course, price charging varies depending on the time of day. McDonalds nearby in walkable distance, but nothing else open this early in the morning.

Restrooms and food is available during the day. Calm place to take a nap.If you like to look around the Western movie museum was great place to visit. I had so much fun, cool hostoric cameras and cars.

Pro: quiet area, 3 min walk to McDonald's through a skating park.Con: (as of July 2023) the "restroom" is a port-a-potty.

Recently doubled number of spots. Entrance a little hard to spot first time. McDonald's is your best food and restroom spot only 2 minutes walk.

16 stalls and well lit. Located just behind the Western Film Museum. Portapotty only. Gorgeous Mountain Views. A few blocks away is a coffee place that also offers avocado toast, açaí bowls, smoothies and panini sandwiches at lunchtime. McDonalds is next door. Paid overnight parking is available from the museum in adjacent parking lot.

Lots of superchargers well located. Bathrooms in the museum in front. Or a Porta potty.

Pros...15 stalls at 250kwCons...on a back lot dirt patch so you have to walk 10-15min to closest food option, which is McDonalds. Or grab McD first and come back to charge.

Well lit and clean, not a lot of chargers but convenient to 395. East walk to McDonalds and a skatepark if you are so inclined.

This is the only stop for a while, expect traffic, though there are slow times. With about 25 cars in queue it took about 2 hours before charging. If all bays are used, max charging speed is about 110KW. A couple small shops near by, and if during the day, see if you can go into the museum.Edit: Drove back through after the week and only 1 stall being used. It will depends on the day you are traveling

There was a line, but I only waited 10 mins. There's no restrooms or a convince store, your best bet is the nearby movie museum. Unexpected benefit is the amazing view of the mountains ⛰️

If you have to stop and charge, this may be your only option. The charging station is behind a museum in a parking lot. Not the best location for chargers. There is no shade. You can walk to the shops and restaurants that Lonepine has to offer. Not my favorite charging spot, but it does the job.
