Had very good coffee on the front porch, taking the last rays of sunshine. Very nice service and place.

This legendary market is amazing. The history alone is the reason we stopped by the first time. We have been several times. Each time, we stare in awe knowing the greatness that once passed through the doors. I originally found this market in search of Jim Morrison's footsteps. Stepping into the market is like traveling back in time. We have also walked around the corner of the market to see "Love Street". The last time we were in the area, we desperately needed a pen to sign a card. This market was not the most convenient location but we stopped by here because it is so cool. We did buy some additional items like bottled drinks, chips and cookies. We love looking at the black and white photos. I just feel like it is a really special place and it was something really magical. I think there is something for everyone here. Snacks, goodies, history and a good little deli for getting food to go. They have cute little tables outside to eat your sandwiches as well. We don't live in the area but we stop by as often as we can. Each time we are delighted to see this fascinating little market where we have always been treated kindly by the sweet staff.

Interesting store. Serves good sandwiches. Noted Laurel Canyon landmark. Part of 1960's and 1970's rock n roll culture.

Iconic place… so many stories. I went for a coffee but nothing in the afternoon. Parking 15 mins only. Line Street is nearby but bear in mind parking is extremely hard to find. There is a restaurant nearby but also no parking.

A cool little spot for a quick run to the store combined with a bite of food or a cup of coffee. In the hillside of Laurel Canyon, right by Love Street with all it's history. Tranquil and colorful atmosphere

My mom grew up listening to The Doors, and this was just cool. We spent the day at the Canyon Country store where the creatures meet. It's located up through Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Kirkwood Drive.Next, we walked next door to Love Street. ❤️The whole entire experience was fun!! The staff at the Canyon Country Store were so nice, and we ended up having lunch there!

my favorite place. I hang out there for hours meeting interesting people especially the owner Tommy. He has great stories of the history of the store and all of his encounters. Great deli sandwiches and good wine selection.

This small general store located in the famous laurel canyon is like walking into a time capsule. From the rock n roll legend Jim Morrisons' house right next door to all of the other legends from the past and present have passed through this small store. They have pretty much anything you can think of inside from drinks to food, to even some delicious sandwiches and salads to go with them. It is a super cool place to go and also a lifesaver when in a pinch.

The canyon store was my final stop on my trip to LA before catching my flight back to the East Coast. I actually found this gem through one of my favorite Lorde songs and made it a goal to squeeze it into me and my s/o's itinerary. We both got egg and cheese bagels and iced coffees for breakfast. Really cool history and gorgeous views of the hills / desert vegetation from the patio as well as hand-painted wall art. I don't know much about the place from a tourism perspective other than being a tourist inspired to visit by my favorite artist, but the place also had an air of community / local respect that I enjoyed witnessing. Simple place with good energy that gave my trip a fulfilling end. & Stream SOLAR POWER

My main review is for the deli sandwich. It was good but nothing exciting and was on the pricy side. That said, the meat is quality and it was made with care. Could have used more meat and the cheese was OK. The deli had all kinds of side dishes like potato salad that looked good, as well as many desserts like cheesecake. Store itself is your typical country store with everything you need. Staff is friendly and there's a small coffee shop outside. Parking is a bit tough but was OK for us around lunchtime. There are tables outside.
