The CVS itself is whatever, it's a CVS in DTLA (definitely not a battle royale as one other person called it) so if you know DTLA... it's a little better than what you'd expect. The one star is for the pharmacy itself. The head guy (asian man) working there was unbelievably patronizing and rude. I have an anxiety disorder and have been taking medication to treat it for several years. My very first time picking up from this location, my brother went and got it for me with no issues, using a picture of the front & back of my GOV issued I.D. 2nd time, I picked it up myself the same way. 3rd time... the lady tries to tell me she (suddenly) can't give me my Ativan without the physical copy. I tell her that isn't the case, she calls boss man over... let the attitudes ensue. I'm waiting for my renewal I.D to come in the mail, a process which takes 3-4 weeks. He then tries to argue with me about it not taking that long, saying he's done it before, blah blah blah. He then says they're not supposed to give it to me but per California law, they can. As long as there's an I.D for the controlled substance.. it's then up to the discretion of said pharmacy. I was out of state for a while and couldn't get my meds in AZ so I had a friend pick them up for me from Vons Pharmacy/CVS (the Ativan was going through a shortage, so different pharmacies needed for my prescriptions) with photos of my I.D and LITERALLY mail them to me. No issues. So it wasn't a matter of them NOT being able to give it to me, they just didn't want to. At the end of it I did walk out with all of my prescriptions but not before they gave me an extremely hard time for them. Mental health impacts people differently, that interaction could've ended a lot worse on both ends. I didn't ask for my new I.D to be delayed and I definitely didn't ask for these health issues.

The manager and staff displayed friendliness and approachability throughout my visit, and the store stocked all the items I required.

I came here from WholeFoods to look at some makeup (which they unfortunately did not have) and as I walked out with nothing in my hands, the clearly untrained security man asked me if I paid for the makeup. What sort of an embarrassment is this? Now if you stare at makeup, you are immediately profiled or queried for imaginary purchase. Please whoever manages this location should do a better job of educating their staff and security on the dos and donts of retail store management. I’ll never SHOP here as I’ve NEVER been so embarrassed in my whole life.

This CVS was actually OK everything was good and there was no issue at all. The cashier is really helpful. Her name was NIMFA, \nShe helped explain a lot of options and opportunities to be a CVS member

Came here to buy basic home toiletries and sundry items and a few snacks. Bathrooms in the back had a key pad. One said employees only, and the other was apparently for customers. I asked the pharmacist in the back " Excuse me: Can you please give me the restroom code ". She glared back at me like my skin was purple and yelled "No!" Stared menacingly at me again, and went about her business. No explanation given. Totally rude. If customers are not allowed, she could have said so. If she simply didn't know the code, she could have directed me elsewhere. She wasn't even busy. I should have gotten her name. Incident was around noon Saturday October 7th.

CVS Store Associate Miriam Gonzalez located on Sunset & 97 Av Miami Fl 33173 is very courteous & professional! She communicates with the customers in a very professional manner. She listens to her customer’s needs and tries to help you in order for you to obtain the items you need during your visit! She offered me the CVS Carepass Program and she explained all the benefits and savings that I could obtain. I was convinced and went ahead and purchased it! She assisted me during the process. I am happy that I will be saving a lot of money right away. It is a very good program.

The staff is lying. I was standing in front of the restroom door in that store. And they told me that they don't have any restrooms. Declined to provide me access. Are you a pharmacy or a torture place?

Family emergency so I have to travel overseas with my infant and have an appointment with the passport agency tomorrow (which was very hard to get). Called this CVS a couple hrs ago to make sure I didn’t need anything for my newborn to have her photos done and the associate said no just to come in. Fast forward a couple hours later after I walked 10min with my new born…I enter the store and ask the first person I see where to I go for passport photos for my child, he says “oh we don’t do babies photos” I said I called so he says stand in line and see, so I do. Get to the counter and the girl looks me dead in my face LIES and says “the camera doesn’t work” so I said I called no one said that so what time did the camera break? She responded “Oh I just got here and they told me that” I calmly walked out but if they don’t want to do the job they shouldn’t work there. Never stepping foot in that location again.

This is the absolute best CVS pharmacy in the whole chain! Eric Kwan (pharmacist) is extremely knowledgeable and was able to work through insurance, discounts, etc and breakneck speed in a professional manner! CVS management take note and give this guy a raise!

I had an appointment at the Minute Clinic at 11:10am on Sunday, June 25th. I received the text message saying the pharmacy would text me when my prescription was ready. After 4 hours, I decided to call for an update; no answer. I go to the store at 4:30pm (they close at 5:00pm). The man working was nice, however he informed me that my medication was not in stock and had to be ordered. It will be ready tomorrow. No one called to share this with me. He apologized. Today I called after 3pm because again, I've not received any communication from the pharmacy. The woman I spoke to was also nice. She said my prescription is ready. I tell her yet again I received no phone call. She apologized and then advices that I call some 800 number to see why I'm not getting text message updates. The customer service is sub par. I pray I don't need prescriptions often, but I most certainly won't be returning to this location which is unfortunate because it is close to my house. They can and should do better.
