Good salvadorian food. Especially pupusas and the fried yuca and chicharron

These are the freshest pupusas on the West side. Its basically a takeout with a few tables, and the ladies who work here are super nice. You may as well eat in, as they cook the pupusas to order. If you do take out, I recommend calling ahead.

Food: this is the best place to buy pupusas on the west side PERIODT. They run about $3 a pop and are always fresh, bubbling over with cheese and goodness. My go to is pork and cheese which is fire, beans and cheese are a close second. The curtido is on point too. Atmosphere: while people do dine in here, I view this restaurant as a take out spot. I usually phone in my order of hella pupusas then swing by to pick them up 25 minutes later. They take cards at the front and I'm on my way in 5 minutes. Service: again, I don't dine in but the staff has always been nice during my interactions with them. Summary: fire pupusas, get you some.

Delicious. I love this spot. The nut/spice based horchata is the best!

This place has gone downhill, the servers that work there are lazy.... pupusas have been undercooked and they seemed annoyed when we brought it to their attention. Today, the waitress drops my order off to the wrong table, and says to the other waitress in Spanish that I won't notice... well I speak Spanish and I did notice that she tried to hide her error and hoped that I didn't notice that my order was wrong... again, the waitress seemed annoyed that I called her out on the mistake... a simple apology would have salvaged all this, but when they try to cover up their mistakes in hopes that customers don't notice, is a bit shady. Food is ok now, but if they make a mistake.... they will be annoyed and upset with you, it's not what it used to be. I don't think management cares about this establishment anymore.

The cheese & bean pupusas & same but with chicharron were very good. The shrimp pupusas were also very good. Plenty of filling. The service was great and the servers were friendly, polite & courteous. And they are close to where I live. Its great to have pupusa restaurant close by.

Their pupusas were okay, I didn't like the texture of the cheese and that's why the rating of the review. They should either add less cheese to them or get original Salvadoran cheese. Other than that, their service, the waiting time and the dough of the pupusas is five stars.

My boyfriend ordered some appetizers to go for mother's day and they were all so blah, but the worse of all was the order of Pastelitos were going or were already bad. The meat inside smelled so bad. We obviously didn't eat them. Bad experience over all, zero starts to this location.

Good prices. Their pupusas was way too bready though. It takes away the flavor of the filling as well as makes it too heavy.

As a Salvadorean I can honestly say that this sets the bar. Making the climb over the valley is worth every platano. Pupusas are a must, hearty and not too greasy. A pollo tamale is also a great entree choice. End it with platanos con creama. Buen provecho!

It's a ok place. The service is good. But we went there to celebrate my dad's birthday and they kicked us out at 8:30. Not cool at all. During one of the conversations we were having. The waiter slipped us the bill and told us that the restaurant was closed. My parents didn't have a good experience there at all. First and Last Time.

Oh my goodness! Deliciousness! The "Mariscaso", seafood soup, is to die for! Plentiful, savory, and fresh! The establishment is clean and very welcoming. The staff is very attentive, polite, welcoming, and pleasant. I will definitely be returning when I'm traveling out here to the West Side. It's a drive from the Valley, but totally worth it!
