We travel to LA 4-6 time a year and stay in the Hollywood area. We have experienced many of the hotels in this area and this is my favorite. First we were greeted by the General Manager Mudey, who is simply exceptional. Often in this part of town we experience a lack luster greeting, employees who won’t look you in the eyes, impatience and a general ‘I’m too hip to care’ attitude. It was so refreshing to encounter a confident, positive and gracious person willing to be helpful and kind after a long day of travel. The little things were often anticipated before we had to ask. Mudey really set the tone for our entire visit. The room was immaculate, large, and so very quiet. This area of Hollywood has a lot of activity and can be very loud at night. Cleanliness is everything, and this one was spotless, we really appreciate that! Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. This is the only hotel that has won my loyalty and made me want to return, I am looking forward to booking our next visit!

I just stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Los Angeles/Hollywood. I thought the room was nice, and the location was great. The only downside was that there wasn't much parking.
Rooms: I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Los Angeles/Hollywood. While the hotel is not flashy, the rooms have everything you need to enjoy your stay. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
Walkability: I like this hotel because it's in a great location. It's walkable to a lot of spots in Hollywood, including the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Hollywood Bowl.

My husband and I stayed at Hampton Inn & Suites Hollywood for 6 nights in September 2024 and enjoyed our stay.
The staff we encountered were friendly, professional and helpful. Ray was especially nice and she answered all our questions and suggested places to eat and visit. There was also a gentleman (we didn’t get his name unfortunately) who was very helpful when it came to extending our checkout time.
The room was spacious and clean, and the mattress and pillows were amongst the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced in any hotel I’ve stayed in.
The complementary breakfast, although not my personal preference, was fine and plentiful.
The hotel had all the amenities we would expect, although we did not get a chance to use the pool or gym.
The hotel is centrally located and in easy distance to Hollywood attractions. We never felt unsafe walking around the area in the evening, but I can understand why some who are taking a solo trip may feel that way. We, therefore, liked the fact that you needed a room key to access all floors (except the ground floor) in the lifts. It made me feel more secure.
We had to pay a deposit on arrival but this was refunded/released very quickly following our check-out.
We would definitely recommend this hotel if you are planning to stay in the area, and we would stay there again if we visit the Hollywood area again in the future.

A pleasant stay. Hotel was basic but well maintained. Room was comfortable and shower was huge. Hollywood is Hollywood and not the best lately but felt comfortable inside the property. Wasn’t recognized as diamond when I checked in but did get water and snacks. I was here for work for two nights and it was fine, but wouldn’t stay for vacation.
Rooms: Modern and comfortable. Huge shower.

On August 21, 2024, my friends and I stayed at the hotel for two nights on a vacation trip to Los Angeles and when we left the room, several items of clothing were accidentally left in the closet, including shirts and jackets. As the days went by, the hotel was contacted to request the review and delivery of the clothes with the receptionist Leslie, who spoke with the head of maids and mentioned that they had nothing, without checking the security cameras, I think that the forgotten things should have been left stored for a certain time waiting for the claim and not keep the guests' belongings.

I called today August 30th around 2:30 pm, to book a reservation. Please, listen the conversations because the lady I spoke on the phone, she didn't give me her name, it was really nasty. She do not deserve the job she has. She hates her job. I was asking her, before booking a reservation, questions about location. She answered around 2 and told me she was really busy and didn't have time to answered questions and hung off the phone. I called back like 3 more times, because I really wanted to book a reservation, she answered the phone and hung off. Please, listen the conversations and take action or you are going to loose a lot of customers.

Well it is located in a fairly interesting area, and as far as Hampton Inns go it was typical. My biggest complaint was about the breakfast. I don't expect a lot from a Hampton breakfast, but all three mornings I was here the hot food selection was exactly the same, eggs (I guess maybe one day it was scrambled and one it was an omelette thing maybe) and then chicken sausage patties and redskin potatoes. For three straight days. Since I like none of those things it would have been really nice if they mixed it up a little from day to day. Usually most Hamptons offer a rotation of food and not the same thing.
Another minor complaint, I'm pretty sure they weren't going to do housekeeping but after the second day they came and cleaned my room and took away the towels even though I had hung them up and planned to reuse them to save on laundry but they took them anyway. And my room TV said "Welcome James" after that even though I'm not James. I wonder if they thought it was a different room where someone checked out and this James fellow was coming in. Not a big deal but a bit weird.
Staff was all great though and the hotel was pretty clean which are the most important things.

Dont care for the valet parking. Don't want to tip to get my own car. Rooms are fine staff is nice. Breakfast is trash but that's typical.
Rooms: Clean
Nearby activities: 20 minutes from boulevard by uber.

They have the audacity to charge $50 a day for parking when I paid thousand of dollars to stay there! Their customers SHOULD NOT have to pay for parking. I only stayed one night and found a nice, modern hotel with free parking and free breakfast for the remainder of my stay.

Parking costs 50 USD/day. The service at the reception is average, American breakfast is average, the pool is pleasant. Excellent rooms although with little space to store your things
Rooms: New rooms are seen
Nearby activities: Hollywood Blv is about 3 blocks away, you can walk there. There are places to eat and dine nearby.
Safety: Although I didn't see a single police officer, I didn't see anything irregular either.
Walkability: Walking on these streets at night didn't seem the best to me.

I don't like living bad reviews but something just didn't work for us in this hotel.
We took a room for four adults
Only the king bed was set when we came.
We went for dinner and asked the front desk to set more beds.
The lady at the front desk said they will be sending another single bed and we asked that the sofa bed would also be prepared
When we returned some 2h layer only one single bed was added.
We called again and asked for more blankets. The lady said she was alone but said she will send it over. Nothing arrived.
We only had 3 towels for four people.
Next morning we asked for more towels to be added and specifically requested that the room would be cleaned.
We came back at the end of the day. Four towels were waiting for us but no one bothered to clean the room.
Very frustrating and not the quality of service I expect from a Hilton brand hotel.
