My friend went to pick up the medication for the surgery she had had that day. Calling different pharmacies revealed that they were not able to disclose whether or not they had the class 3 narcotics she was prescribed in stock. She was turned away without any information on which pharmacy she should try next after telling them she had been to several already (it was after hours and many had closed so her options as to where to go were a bit far from each other.) The women just looked at her and the visible staples in her head from her craniotomy, as she begged for help and they coldly and curtly replied they would not even place the phone call for her. She still wore the wristband from the hospital and was in obvious pain.

Bad customer service. They never call after your doctor calls in a prescription so you must guess on when it's ready and still usually wait for them to fill it. My doctor recently called in a prescription for an item they don't have in stock. I had to go in person for them to decide to order it versus automatically ordering it when my doctor prescribed it. They gave me the price and pickup time. I returned on that day and they said they couldn't order it. They had three opportunities to call me and tell me they couldn't order it and they wasted my time to have to go in person twice.

The pharmacy manager Ari went out of his way to correct my digital vaccine record after my name was inadvertently misspelled when I got my 2nd vaccine. Kudos to him and the pharmacy (and store) staff who are always efficient, pleasant, and a pleasure to deal with!

10 minute wait for antibiotics...60 minutes for the pain killer. I've worked in pharmacies for half my life and never experienced that.kind of discrepancy. My partner broke several bones in a motorcycle accident and had to wait over an hour for some pain relief. I won't be returning to this pharmacy. 8/29/2021

I have gone here for 10 years and had all my prescriptions filled here, but am done. They have security, but corporate has forbidden staff from doing anything about maskless people. In two brief visits in 24 hours I saw four maskless people: * an unmasked woman, with the mask on her chin, who touched her nose twice * an unmasked man who didn't seem to have any business there and plopped down in the waiting area. * very disturbed man was shouting to himself without a mask. *a completely maskless woman This is not fair to staff, customers (including the immunocompromised), and the community -- which depends on public health measures to reduce spread. Security should be denying entry to the unmasked. If some situations are too dangerous, that is one thing, but thy are completely ignoring it and not allowed to. I really liked the staff and the store was clean and just fine, but I do not want to be exposed to COVID or to give business to a place with such a reckless policy.

For being in the location this store is in, I have to say dang who does the cleaning? I can only imagine how hard it is to keep a store on Sunset Blvd in order, especially when it's the size that this Rite Aid is, but whomever is running the show, does a great job. Coupled with cleanliness, the layout and large variety of items are the employees. These folks are on point and should be told that they are fantastic on the regular. My recent experience with the pharmacy staff & pharmacist was top notch and left me throughly impressed. I've since changed all my future med orders from the shop across the st from me to this store just a few more mins away. It's def worth it.

Pharmacy service is good, however the manager and clerks are incompetent. Maybe they missed the customer service orientation.

I work near by on Sunset and man, has this Rite Aid gone downhill. 1st issue is they still refuse to open the Front Doors on Sunset Blvd, causing one to walk down Fairfax to the back doors by the parking lot to enter. The problem is you have to walk past a bus stop bench on Fairfax where crazys and homeless people congregate to get to that back door. When I complained to the manager about this today he didn't seem to care and said it's not my decision. 2nd issue is all I wanted was a scoop of thrifty ice cream, and the person that came to work the ice cream stand was not wearing a mask. They are probably vaxed and I just sound paranoid, but just working in a drug store and doing food handling, I dont know, it just didn't make me feel safe and I didn't take a chance getting ice cream. But management seriously needs to adress both issues.

Referencing was inconceivably basic and was obliging patient, and understanding when I was having issues with my charge card more than once declining due to the out-of-country buys. The drugs inside the holder were fastidiously wrapped and in heavenly condition. You're truly extraordinary!

I've been using the drugstore's operation for quite some time. It was really impressive that they met my medical needs very quickly. People are being sold various types of medications! Excellent work!

Very frustrated with the pharmacy department. I am 7 months pregnant and got diagnosed with gestational diabetes. Went in to pick up my monitor today and have to test blood sugar before eating, something the pharmacist should know. There was no offer on how to show me how to use even though it said right there on the prescription that they needed to show to show me, when I asked I was told I'd need to wait 30 mins because they were giving covid tests. It would have taken them 5 minutes to show me and they could have had someone not pregnant and on bed rest wait, but were not willing to accommodate. So they never showed me and when I got home realized I would need alcohol swabs which they didn't even bother to mention.

On 4/20/21 I entered your store and a song was playing throughout which clearly said "Brown Power" repeatedly. I don't know if you have a corporate music playlist or have a designated station you subscribe to. If White Power was in the lyrics it would cause an uproar and banned and if it was about Black power it would be banned as well. So I'm not sure what makes you think Brown Power is OK? You have an obligation to every customer that walks into your store to be treated with equal respect. Allowing this sorta garbage to be played is unacceptable. It is a failure in management to properly monitor what is being advertised in store that can likely be perceived as racism. I wasn't going to say anything but this has really been bothering me. And I do plan to write corporate as well.

I was met with appreciation and a soft smile as I stepped into this pharmacy. I'm overjoyed that my pharmacy education has given me more trust! It is highly recommended!!
