Love stopping here when I can, some prices are good, some are really high. One super con is they mark directly on items with permanent market. Annoying to get off, sometimes it doesn’t come off and for real writing onto wood with marker? 2 thumbs down for permanent market. I do love the staff, they are also so helpful and bright.

I loved to go to the Happy Dragon to find antique and obscure things for very reasonable prices. I hadn't gone for a long time, and when I visited again, there is a new manager. He marked the items much higher, and added "vintage" to things that are not even vintage for markup reasons.I understand all profits go to charity, but this is a turnoff point for me. Please go back to the old day, sell items that are authentic with reasonable prices, because that is what the Happy Dragon about!

Such a terrible attitude when donating here! You really feel like they are doing you a favor. If they are so miserable volunteering, they shouldn't be there! Never donating anything there again.

Though I love to support a good charity, I simply can't shop here anymore! Their prices are absolutely ridiculous! Even for the crappy items that have no real value. Like TJ Maxx type stuff. They charge twice as much for that stuff and it's used and abused. Those volunteers marking the prices really need to have a reality check! Yes, they're volunteers and I do appreciate that they want to give their time. But, really?! Get rid of that stuff and mark the prices so it's fun to shop.

I liked the place with one caveat. Do yourself a favor and check their hours BEFORE you go there. The store hours are limited for donating OR visiting the place. If it's 12:45 pm on a Saturday, you won't have much time to look around the shop because they close at 1:00. That's just how it is. I don't expect them to adjust their hours just for little ol' me and my tardiness on the weekend. Don't be like me. Get there around 10 a.m. when they open. Thanks.

Prices are high for a thrift shop and I've seen them turn away people who had good stuff of truckloads to donate because they had "special hours". They ended up donating somewhere else.

Love a good thrift shop, especially when there are treasures in cases, and this one's right up there with other fun, clean, safe, beautiful treasure shops.

Ive been coming here since I was a little girl with my mother. Always get a kick of finding great items for a good deal. You had to be here early because it would fill up with people quick. But unfortunately, items are tagged at ridiculous prices. I know prices are going up everywhere but it’s too much. A basic glass bottle was priced at $18? An old kettle that was chipped at $16. A broom was $10?? Old stuffed animals at $9?? Random framed pictures for $25?? Insane. And also a lot of “check eBay” posters. The volunteers are always great. I noticed when the new manager came in prices went up. (Tall man with black hair). I hate to make a review on this wonderful thrift store but hope this helps with pricing.

Great small but packed thrift store and been around for over 60 YEARS! Lots of friendly volunteers, proceeds go to Uplift family services. Open limited hours. Worthy a trip!

I used to love this store but it has gotten so expensive that I can’t afford to shop there anymore.

Happy Dragon is okay - like all second hand stores it's hit or miss - I've gotten some nice coats there and like to buy their greeting cards
