This used to be such a cool store. I went with a color sample to match a bath mat I wanted. “We don’t have those here anymore. You must get it online.”It’s no longer a nice store that you’d go into to shop around. It just seems like another custom design store. The coolness is completely gone.

Went to RH Los Gatos today and had really bad experience. A very nice lady was assisting us and she had some question and called the manager. Manager looked like in her 60ies and had horrible attitude. I asked about the warranty and she went on her random bumbling talks "RH is known for quality and all random" and no data point. I said our earlier furniture in rental apt was from away fair and then she went off like it wasn't worth her time, I had to ask the other lady if that oldie owns RH. She is on commission and may be next time I should show them W2. This is classic old people judgmental superior quality syndrome. 2.5 rating on Yelp should be eye opener for shitty attitude.

Nice store. Lovely items. Easy to shop. Only problem is when I tell people it's from RH they look at me with a blank stare. I forget what RH stands for. I always say like RL Ralph Lauren but no clothes it's a furniture store.... No one knows.... I think that's their biggest problem. Sometimes I don't even remember the RH.... Oh well. Good luck RH.

I bought a gray leather couch from RH and had it delivered last October. After 1-2 months it started splotching. I emailed customer service no response. I came into the store I bought it from in January to show pictures. I was super nice about it, they said they would get back to me, nothing. I called 2 weeks ago to talk to a manager and she said she would follow up and get back to me. Haven’t heard from her. I paid 8-9k for this couch and it looks absolutely hideous, no fault of my own and I can’t get anyone to care enough or have the decency to try to make it right. What an absolute joke.

Cheap rough in hardware for very expensive tub and shower fixtures!! , save your money, and do your research. The rough in valve set I got, has no way to secure into wall, relying on plumbing straps, to secure main body,, valve to diverter had small leak as well, what do you want for $800!! I've placed many rough in boxes, and so far this is the cheapest,

I bought a lot of stuff from them so I have been using them for over a year now. I am more or less happy with their product so far. But RH are you listening??? You need to provide warranty on your products. They are not cheap.

I ordered a bunk bed from RH about 10 weeks ago. It arrived damaged. The delivery team told me RH would be on contact with a replacement delivery. No such thing happened. I then had to reach out and they had no idea I had "refused delivery" and continued to question me about what had happened. Finally they said they would send me a new one (keep in mind I have already been charged for this item that I didn't have). They told me earliest shipping was 4 weeks away..finally I get notification my item is ready to ship, my daughter is so excited - this is her first big girl bed. It arrives with sploches of grey paint all over one side of the bed. Frustrated in receiving another damaged item I chatted the RH team asking for a reimbursement. Customer service refused to reimburse me the $200 I paid to ship the item here. You would think they would inspect their items before shipping them seeing that we are paying so much money for them. I am very unhappy with my experience with the company.

I was very disappointed that Restoration Hardware is providing no COVID-19 relief for loyal customers. Almost every company I know of has extended loyalty programs during these difficult times. However, RH refuses to help by extending their memberships due to COVID-19. I would encourage everyone to shop at more socially responsible companies.

We recently purchased a home and came to RH to furnish most of our home and had the worst experience. We were assigned to Lila the designer who seemed to care less about helping us. After we first met, she said she would call and follow up to schedule an in home visit and she never did so I had to call the store to track her down. When I finally got a hold of her, we scheduled time for her to come to the house. That morning, my husband and I drove to the house to meet her (we weren't living there yet) and she never showed up. I tried to call the store but they weren't open yet and she hadn't given me her number. After 30 min of waiting, we gave up and went home. I called the store after they opened and they said that she was out on medical leave, but no one even bothered to call and cancel our appt. I canceled my membership and am taking my business elsewhere. For the price point, you would expect some level of basic customer service but I guess not at this location

The stuff here is patient and knowledgeable. O came a day towards their closing time, but they were very patient and kept saying I don't need to hurry. A good selection of furniture and decorations. High recommended.

The WORST customer service (and this is coming from the Manager). If you ask for help, their response (if they look up from their computer) is "did you look online"? Of course, this is if they pay attention to you at all. I am disappointed in myself that we have spent so much with RH over the years. That said, if you really love Restoration Hardware, go to the store in Palo Alto. They are much more attentive and helpful.

Terrible corporation with zero social / environmental responsibility (10 pounds catalogues sent arount) and semi-criminal membership techniques (no notice of renewal, charging credit cards). Salesperson lied when getting membership and said it was 1 year only - then they charged for another year or two. Quality of goods also went down in the last 4-5 years.
