Finally decided to take the turn at the red light. A small mom and pop style market . I wanted to try out the ranchera flap meat. It was priced higher than other markets, at $17.99 lb. But the meat was great, tasty and tender, so it made up for the price. Cardenas in $9.99 lb, other place down the street is $12.99 lb for the same cut. They have La Chona melting cheese that’s great too. 3.8/10 Everything here is going $1 - $10 higher than other places. Place is organized at a bare minimum, I like how they had the listed pricing on the racking. Surprisingly the packaged choco flan was good. Total items bought: 3 ( 1 lb meat, La Chona Cheese, choco-flan) debit charge: $39.21

The place is good but the staff is not friendly at all. I went to buy 2 chickens at barbecue and I paid with a 100 bill. My total was 46 and they gave me my change. My mistake was not counting it. Not even 5 minutes passed when I realized and told him. I told the person who charged me and she said no, she gave me 100, she gave me a $50 and from there I didn't get anything, they robbed me in plain sight. I didn't start arguing with them because I had my baby in the car, but they should be more honest.

The food portions are beyond plenty for the money you pay, not stingy with the salsas the only downside is the wait can be a while especially during lunch time easy 25 minutes, but worth the wait. Birria quesadillas and birria burrito are loaded with meat. Highly recommend PHONE-IN food order no waiting.

8-12-23 I bought some tacos and just by looking at them I knew I wasn't going to like them. One of the worst tacos I've ever eaten. I don't recommend it, the tortillas look like waffles, maybe they need a change of manager

I got a California burrito and a large horchata for 20$ , the meat was SOOOO salty I couldn't even eat it , you can tell that it had been sitting in marinade and was not fresh for a long time because the meat was almost like a shredded beef texture not carne asada. They don't like to give you limes if you don't ask for them and if you ask for more for a family order they will maybe give you 3 more lol
