One of my favorite places to enjoy a lovely dinner out. Food is delicious and the staff are attentive, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend the deviled eggs! It’s also quite challenging to go wrong with any of the drinks.Parking: Free, Shared plaza parking is located underneath.

Ate there Thursday for a retirement dinner for a Stanford colleague. Firt time there -the service, food & ambiance were all great! Started with ahi tuna canapes on tortilla chips, & beef skewers & fresh Vietnamese rolls, than a lovely salad with edible flowers. My entre was a great king salmon, perfectly cooked, topped with fried onions in a tangle, and served with great sauteed spinach with currents & cranberries. Only shot I got was this fabulous dessert!

Will be back for the food and wine. Cocktail's weren't bad but not what would bring me back. Welcome was warm and very nice. Service wasn't attentive throughout the entire meal (had to flag down for an extra glass of wine and again to ask for the dessert menu)

Levy is ruining this establishment. The way she condescends her customers is ridiculous. I then asked one of the servers what they think of Levy and they said she constantly giving them attitude. Exactly what she did to me.

Delicious cocktails, wine, and meal at BBC this month. We enjoyed the tuna starter, braised short rib, and filet mignon. For dessert, we had the chocolate budino and red velvet tiramisu cake. It was a lovely date night with attentive service and delicious food/drink. Thanks!

Loved the burrata salad and the deviled eggs, the salmon platter and the truffled fries. I also loved my whiskey, but cannot remember is name except that it started with a "C" and was a speyside and very smooth. My friends and I had a great time. Thank you! I must stay for dinner next time!

Ate in on a Monday night. Cocktails were delicious as were the beans on toast, short rib, pasta dishes, and pavlova. Will be back.

Food was good, but that is expected at the price point. The service was pretty bad, everyone was nice but they were not particularly attentive. I had to ask for wine glasses to be topped up, menus were left on the table after ordering and even when the food came, which created a mess. Took a long time to get the servers attention for ordering dessert. Maybe the server we had was just a new person or inexperienced. There were other small things around the service that were annoying in a minor way too. I would go again to see if the experience is better next time, but for the price I would have expected much better service.

I have been to BBC many times. As in the past, the food was very good-tasty, properly cooked, and attractively presented. Good wine by the glass and bootle options at relatively reasonable prices. Service was a lot poorer than usual. Restaurant was not busy, but it took forever to get drink and food orders submitted. Indeed, the waiter only came by on his own accord once (for the dessert order)--every other time we had to raise hands to get our attention. Quite disappointing. Indoor seating very cramped--we sat "on top of" our neighbors and vice versa. No privacy. In the past I've only been outside or on the roof. Very different. At least from a noise and comfort standpoint, I'll make sure to go back when the weather is good so that my group can be outside or on the roof.

Ordered an "autumn" bean toast which literally seemed to have kidney beans from a can on it. Our waiter was non existent and lights went on at 9pm with passive aggressive gestures it was time for us (and the other tables still enjoying a night out) to leave. In their defense, this seems to be the norm...I'm finding very few restaurants worth the price tag lately on the Peninsula.

My partner and I did not feel overly welcomed in the space, while it seemed that other customers were attended to really well. We had to wait an inappropriate amount of time (almost 30 min) before we were even acknowledged by the wait staff after being seated. It took us asking 4 people (truly) before water even came to the table, whereas the couple sitting next to us received their water immediately. The tables near us also had their servers checking in on them frequently, whereas we only received interactions when our food was being delivered. We also asked for the check twice before it finally came, whereas our same server asked the couple next to us if they wanted their check and brought it out , immediately. We sat down well before that table (almost 30 min) and they received their drinks before us.As far as the food goes, I ordered the burger medium-rare, and it was tasty. My partner ordered a Hot Toddy and it was lukewarm and unpleasant. His lobster roll also had shell fragments and the dish as a whole lacked a lot of flavor (it was overpriced for the quality of the dish). The dessert was fine.Overall, the atmosphere was pretty, however we will not be back. We did not like the feeling that we were potentially being treated differently or forgotten about.
