Well this is my mother's personal banking choice and she says they're awesome because she's been with them for quite a while so I'm going to trust it and definitely recommend ??

Nothing worse than going into a Chase bank located at Sisk and Standiford in Modesto, after waiting in line to reach the teller to do a wire transfer you are told to sit and wait for over 30 minutes while they continue to help everyone else that walks and gets in line. Then when there is no one else in line a lady comes over to help you with a wire transfer. When you ask to speak to the manager she blows you off and asks you to wait even longer. They have extremely poor customer service.

Gave my bf 500 to deposit into his bank, freaking atm ate all the cash and didn’t even deposit the money and they said they couldn’t do anything about since he didn’t have a receipt, when the atm just ate the cash and didn’t give a receipt in the first place! There goes all my hard earn cash.

All positive experiences with this Chase Bank, specifically with the Banker Eddie Shoemaker. He has always been very helpful, welcoming, and understanding when it comes to my requests; like creating new accounts or making new updates. Eddie has always offered excellent customer service, solved all of my issues and problems, and answered all of my questions with integrity and care. I am very appreciative for all of his hard work and dedication to help create positive experiences and connections with his customers and guests. Thank you for making my day!

Bank representative refused to allow me to negotiate a check drawn on the branch on an account with sufficient good and collected funds (verified before I presented the check) or permit me to open an account to deposit the check for negotiation. The representative falsely claimed the check was fraudulent and refused to contact the maker (my adult daughter) even after I provided contact information. I complained earlier that Chase Bank attempted to assess an excessive withdrawal charge which I had declined. I was aware Chase has been fined recently, in California, for assessing similar excessive withdrawal fees.

Worst bank around! ALWAYS long lines and only 2 tellers at a time! Even if the line is literally out the door! They've replaced the tellers with ridiculous indoor ATMs that NOBODY likes and continually push them on customers. They literally have an employee that just goes up and down the line trying to make people use an ATM when they could just as easily use that employee as a teller to help customers! Who ever runs this place should be fired immediately.Horrible customer service, horrible bank. Avoid this location at all costsm

Worst service ever. I’m closing my account because Lauren the branch manager is useless. We had a scheduled appointment, went in with our kids and she comes out and says she double booked and cannot see us today. She lied and told us she tried to call us but our mailbox was not set up. We showed her the voicemail she left us confirming our appointment and called her out on lying to us. Such a shame!! We’ve been with chase for 15 years and will be closing our account because we cannot do business with people with no integrity.

I signed up with chase recently at the chase at 38980 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA 94536. Really professional, they know exactly whos next in line and were extremely helpful. This chase needs to learn from the one in Fremont! Came to the Stanford and sisk chase bank and didnt get any where. Had to wait long periods of time to be told they are going on lunch. Oh yeah they also shared my bf check around and laughed at him

Used the ATM at lunchtime because I wanted a quick in and out. I dropped my debit card, and somebody kindly turned it in. I returned about 30 minutes later after I realized I had dropped it, and had to wait in line for about 20 minutes because there were only 2 tellers for a long line of people. When I was able to speak to a teller, they told me someone had turned it in, but that they had shredded my card when they received it “for my protection” because they didn’t know whether the person had used it...how would shredding the card make it better?? Wouldn’t the damage still have been done if the person did indeed use it? My name is on the card, how is it not possible for the teller to swipe my card, look up my contact information, and let me know that they had it so that I could pick it up?? Now I have to request another card and switch all my automatic payments. Absolutely horrible customer service, I will most certainly switch over to a credit union, where they at least value a person and not just the money they can provide.
