Super weird vibe. Called and left a message yesterday, clearly stated that we were just trying to find a great blowout Stylist as we’ve got somebody coming into town that needs a great blowout, didn’t get a call back.
Try the next day, Cheryl picked up the general line, explained again that we have a talent in town for an event, and we’re trying to find a great blowout artist. And the response: “yeah I’m sorry we don’t have any availability.“
We hadn’t shared the date, the time, or what they were getting done. Maybe they’re overly paranoid about scams, but they just lost business.
Note to owners: you’re lucky to get customers calling during this particular era and the economy.
Maybe instead of being rude and blowing off new business you actually take the time to be warm and welcoming? Just a suggestion.
In any case there’s about 30 other salons in Modesto and at least five of them were warm and welcoming and Getting back to us with availability. Try one of them.

Darrell does amazing work and is very passionate about hair. I feel very comfortable in his chair because he listens and puts his all when he’s servicing you. Trust me I know this first hand because my hair was a hot mess express when I went to him for the first time. Current day; my hair has never looked better because of him! Also, the salon gals I have met there are also very friendly and warm which helps the experience of getting your hair done even better.

Darrell is a dream come true when it comes to a hair dresser who listens to what you want. Usually what I have in mind is also what he has in mind, so that works out even better. He takes his time and gives a great shampoo and an amazing cut. I recently decided after about ten years of straight hair I would like to get a perm again. I was nervous especially since I did it a few days before an important event. Darrell did fantastic. I could not be happier and I have received so many compliments from everyone. You can definitely trust him to take care of you. I love my perm.

This salon has a great vibe. So atunned to your needs. I requested availability. Darrel Dotson responded quickly. A few hours later I was getting a great shampoo and beautiful haircut. If you are looking for a great stylist then Darrell is the stylist for you! The best haircut I have had in years. It's hard to find somebody that actually listens and knows what they are doing. Darrell has mastered the trade. We also had great conversation throughout my visit. My first of many to come.

I searched on Yelp one Sunday morning looking for hair salon in Modesto. I sent a request for a quote and within 45 minutes I received a response from Cheryl, the owner. She recommended I reach out to Michelle, one of her stylist. I did and had my first appointment yesterday. The salon is adorable and they have their own parking off the street. Michelle is so sweet. She listened to what I wanted and I'm very pleased with the results. I highly recommend this salon. I have found my new hair stylist.

I was referred to Sandra over a year ago. I really liked her and she does foil highlights and touches up my roots. Mid last year i had to have her redo my hair no problem. I go in monthly or every four weeks or so. My hair grows fast. I went in and she did my hair foil touch up my roots and all over long layer trim. I leave with my hair wet. Natural curly so it goes up in a bun till it dries. The next morning after my appt i noticed my hair looked like it had outgrowth. So i asked her if she could redo it. She told me "this looks good to her". She touched up my front area only and told me she couldn't do the whole thing or i get breakage. I'm done. With the managers response to my review, clearly these people are out of touch with reality. Good luck finding new customers

We just had the best experience with Darrell. He cut my daughter's hair. It is her first hair cut! He is very patient and understanding. She was scared at first and he tried his best to help her feel comfortable and excited. He did a wonderful job and she loves it! We can't wait to come back.

I requested an appointment yesterday via yelp and was responded to quickly and got me in the next day. My appointment was made with Danielle. She is super friendly and sweet. I told her what I was wanting. I have long brownish hair and I wanted to cut and throw in some blonde. I showed her two pictures that were nearly the same just styled differently. She was super confident that my hair would take the blonde well. She did my hair perfect!!!! I would recommend her to anyone. She is honest, listens to what you want

Shante is Incredible! I LOVE this haircut! I was on a video conference with a bunch of executives this past and one of them IM'd me to tell me how great my hair looked. Awesome!

The short of it: Mayra was awesome! Cute small salon in good location downtown. Plenty of parking which is a plus! I waited a super long time to get my haircut because it was something a little out of the box and I struggled to find someone who I felt confident could do what I wanted - Mayra was a fantastic choice! She's super personable and delivered exactly what I wanted. She spent time with me making sure it was perfect and I just generally like her as a person as well!

I went to this salon to get my hair cut for the first time in over a year. Monica did a GREAT job. She was very professional and friendly and on time for my appointment. She really took her time on my hair and I appreciate that. I will return back when it's time for another hair cut!

My hair is fantastic. Michelle Mercado was amazing!! I was in need of a haircut because my ends were dead and dry. Pretty damaged. So I decided to cut my hair a lot shorter. I called and they fit me in today. Thank you soooo much for fitting me in. They were welcoming and Michelle was great! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she exceeded my expectations. I am definitely going back to her and just found my permanent hair stylist. This was one of the best experiences I've ever had and I have been to many many salons looking for the perfect stylist for me and haven't found one until now. Wonderful salon with great staff. Got my daughter in with less than a weeks notice so we could attend a wedding that weekend. So awesome. Great location too, easy to get to.
