I’ve been taking my dogs here for 11 years and Dr. Gonda and his team are the best. The office staff is always friendly and competent too. My dogs actually like going to the vet and are happy to see everyone at Arroyo Vista Vet.

I adore the staff & Veterinarians truely care and treat our babies as they would thier own babies. I had an emergency in mid August & called at 4:59pm with a gaping wound that happened to our Cali. They stayed until 6:30pm in surgery and finding Arroyo Vista many years ago, I have found the best Vets. I know this as after utilizing so many vets in Simi Valley, Moorpark and Thousand Oaks, that my babies are in the best caring hands ❤️❣️????

When it was time to help my dog cross over, I made it very clear saying I would like for my dog to be sedated before the final shot. However when they brought us in the room, I sat listening to the staff laugh hysterically and a vet I never met or saw before came in, did not introduce herself, said nothing, proceeded to insert a syringe into the catheter while making annoyed sounds as if it was a bother or difficult for her, she then announced my dog was dead and left the room. I have never had this experience before in any of my past dogs I’ve had to put down. All vets walk me through the process. I thought she was sedating him so I barely had time to tell him I love him before he passed. I understand this is an unpleasant process for the vet but the way this was done was so wrong. I literally and specifically told Kelly that I did not want my dog put down while upset and crying and that I wanted him sedated which she claimed she would tell the vet but this request was ignored and I was not warned or told why. He died crying/screaming out and I still don’t know the name of the vet who did it. The worst possible experience I could have had. The last time I had to euthanize my dog, the kind vet walked me through the process of what he was doing and spoke kind words to me. This vet said not a word. Even when I spoke to her she did not reply except to grunt.

Outstanding veterinary office. (I had to leave an office in Simi Valley after 25 years due to rude, uncaring staff). I spent some time researching vet offices around us, before choosing Arroyo Visa Vet Hospital. A pleasure to walk in this office. Nice and clean, friendly staff, Dr. was so kind and attentive to my Aussie. I was ready to do any and all tests to find out why my dog had has diarrhea for several weeks. The doctor laid out all the options. In the long run saving me money.
This office is worth a try if looking for care for your animal.

My pup had a foxtail stuck in his paw that got swollen/infected. He was limping when walking and was in pain from it. Dr. Palomares was fantastic, she was compassionate and seemed to really care about my dog! They quickly fixed the issue and had him back to his normal self in no time. I would highly recommend Arroyo Vista to friends or family!

Dr Gonda treated us dog parents with respect and kindness. He explained and showed us in great detail the issue we were having with the puppy. He even called us back today to go over some details we didn't discuss yesterday, but wanted answers on (after we left the clinic). I highly recommend this vet to any one with a fur baby who needs someone looking out for us.
