Apparently this pharmacy has decided it's more important to give vaccines than to fill prescriptions. Having to wait for hours to get a prescription filled because they are backlogged on giving vaccines is unacceptable.Let clinics give vaccines and let pharmacies dispense medication.

Rite Aid in Moorpark, CA. On Monday, 10/5 I was very much surprised when on my arrival to do a drive-by COVID-19 test I was told that results of the test will be back only after 7 days, and therefore I was asked If I really want to proceed. After some confusion with this info on my side and my willingness to go on with the test anyway, the kit was given to me and information was updated with: probably it will take 2 to 7 days. When I was leaving - info changed once again: results may be back even faster… in reality - results came back in about 30 hours. My question is why firm ‘seven days results back’ was given to me with question if I still would like to get the test done? Was it to force me not to do it, or just not to do it there, and to do it somewhere else? Was it oficial information the girl at the window was supposed to provide to the people who came for the test? Or it was her own intention?By the way, results were ‘negative’.

Wide variety of products available at this store. Need milk, ice, beverages? Got it. Snacks? Cards and gifts? Got it. They have a decent selection of make-up (drug store level), but the OTC meds are hit and miss. They may have something for you but not necessarily the item that you came in for. Staff is efficient and warm. 3.5 stars is most appropriate.

I call daily to try and get the Covid vaccine and this pharmacy is the only one where I am treated as if I am burdening them by trying to get one. Empathy is not in most of these women's vocabulary. Although I was fortunate enough to speak to a pharmacist there who advised me what times to call for availability, the other couple of women were cold, hopeless and trying to stear me to another pharmacy. For people who are supposed to help I'm about as dissapointed as can be in their attitudes.

This used to be Thrifty. From what I can tell, little has changed under the Rite-Aid banner except for a very nice remodel. The store is clean and the staff is very helpful.

Zero star for their pharmacy service! My spouse dropped her prescription in the AM. Said they would call. They never did. Called them after 4 PM, they still had filled the prescription. Extremely poor pharmacy service.

I haven't used the pharmacy, and am leaving a review only about the store itself.

I love Rite-Aid but I will not be coming to this specific location for the foreseeable future for any pharmacy needs. I was attempting to fill my boyfriends perscription and I was refused assistance. I did not have his physical insurance card, but I did have his ID, work insurance policy group number, and subscriber ID number. I preceeded to leave Rite-Aid get said insurance card for fear that no other pharmacy would help me, and leave my boyfriend who just got out of oral surgery unattended. Very unhappy with the service I received today. What a shame.
