I can’t seem to go to any other Target location besides this one. The cleanliness and tidiness of the store makes shopping so much memorable. It’s nice to walk in and immediately feel comfortable and welcomed by the staff.

Doesn’t appear to be a lot of management. There was one checkout person and a line of about 5 people. I put my booze on a deserted checkout and went to self checkout.

The "music" in the store is blasting, blaring loud. The customer NO-service department said they can't do anything about it. Store manager listened to us, but said nothing more than "uh huh." Meanwhile, the cacophony is not just ear splitting, but incessant too. Sounds like we're at a rave. We have to yell at each other to hear while in the store. Employees on the floor, optical, grocery and even the check stands agree the music is TOO DAMN LOUD. There is no reason for it. What's the point? It just chases us out of the store! We buy LESS than we want to - just want to get out!!

Horrible store manager at this location! Won't pickup the phone: avoids responsibility. I wanted to suggest a security guard to be posted outside their store because there has been many incidents in which strange men begging for money have been following women to their cars & harassing them (Myself included). Target needs to look out for their customers safety or you won't have anymore customers. Hire a security guard to post outside the front & don't allow loitering outside your facility: harassing your customers! It's that simple & store manager answer your phone!! You don't have time for your customers: you should not hold that position & be replaced!

Before the larger store was built in western Simi Valley (Tierra Rejada and Madera), the Moorpark Target was where we used to do most Target runs. While I like many of the shops & restaurants in the Moorpark Marketplace, the Target had started falling behind in appeal. Especially after they closed the garden shop, I didn't find reason to go there very often.Last night, I was on the hunt for a particular item at the S.V. West store, but I couldn't find it there. Online, they showed as supposed to have it, but in limited quantities. The Target app indicated that there was one unit at the Moorpark store, so Dear Hubby and I headed over.First thing I noticed is a sign on the exterior saying that they've remodeled. Well, okay - let's see what that's like. It's definitely lighter and brighter than I remember. They'd spruced up the swim shop area. It was 42 degrees outside in mid-February, but by all means, let's be pushing swimwear right now!They've added a whole section with Ulta Beauty branding, which sits across the center aisle from their normal beauty area. The latter also gets a boost from new cool lighting overhead, which draws attention to the space.After wandering around the kitchen appliances area and almost giving up on the one thing I was there to buy, I found it several aisles over on an endcap featuring GreenPan merchandise. Happily scored the multi-mode cooker to replace a quite well-used Crockpot. It's time for an upgrade. Now, for the same storage space I have an appliance that can steam, stew, sauté, as well as slow cook. They've added a mini Starbucks, too. Our cashier was very friendly, especially after I returned her greeting and asked how she was doing. Works miracles! As I write this and remember how the experience went, I upped 3.5 stars to 4 stars. This is definitely an upgrade over the last time I visited this location.

I placed ann order for pickup, most stores it’s completed in two hours. This store had an item I needed, so I placed an order for pickup. 3 hours later it wasn’t ready. I got to the store and talked to Regina in customer service. She told me they have to go six hours to get it, and that I had to pick the order myself if I wanted it, and didn’t even check the status. So I go and pick the order myself and check out, but I cannot cancel the order in the app or on the website, and so I go back to customer service and explain the whole situation to Ryan, who is quite dismissive and will not make eye contact, takes my phone from me and repeatedly encounters the same issue, and tells me to just leave and it’ll get cancelled in 3 days, and smirks that if he can he’ll try to cancel it once it’s picked. When I ask how do I know that’s going to happen and I won’t be double charged, he smirks again and says I won’t forget. Regina leaves for the evening without even offering to help. By the time I get to my car after all of this, the orders is ready, yet I still cannot cancel it. This whole ordeal took over an hour.On a side note, there was visibly moldy cheese in the deli case.Will not be shopping at the Moorpark store again.

Pretty good target. This place is usually pretty under-staffed on cashiers though, so expect a wait at checkout.

Horrible service. All the employees have time to chit chat and text but actually provide a service or answer a questions is impossible. At check out I had a horrible customer service rep. He rolled his eyes as I came up to the register . I greeted him and he ignored me. The someone comes over as I am paying and says they need help at self checkout , he looks at me and starts to walk away . I told him your not done with my transaction . He says just walk around and get your receipt from the register and then you can leave, it's not that hard to do. So since when is a customer suppose to be behind the register . Damn kid was rude and racist . This store need a revamp in staff and cleanliness .

They do not answer their phone nor answer posted questions. Then after driving there it is nearly impossible to find what you need nor a person who knows.
