I recently visited this branch after being unable to get help with a problem from HSBC's online and phone support. I arrived in a pretty frustrated, bad mood. I was helped by Will Li who was fantastic. He was calm despite the fact I was not. He calmed me down and was able to deal with a complicated situation - he was also conscious of my time and polite and courteous throughout. I couldn't be more complimentary. I arrived frustrated and angry and left with my problem dealt with and feeling happy and calm.

This HSBC branch is excellent. When I called, an associate quickly answered the call. I got a chance to speak to the branch manager, Brian. He is professional, nice and very helpful.

Opened an account after receiving an offer in the mail. The process was smooth and the banker was helpful and patiently answered any questions that I had. The contact number posted here mostly goes unanswered, needs to be updated I believe.

RUN or be very careful. They cross-sell various products. If you wanna open a checking account, They ask if you need a select credit and they tell you there is no option to opt out. If you assume "select credit" is some option in checking account, you are doomed. They will open a credit card without even you SIGNING anything! This is literally next to fraud. One needs to authorize by signing to pull credit information, but not here. WATCH OUT.

Been there yesterday and I though I would leave a good review. It took two hours to sign 2 forms but is still better than being at a Social Security Office... I was quite satisfied with the service and the help provided and I though everything was good. Today I called in to discover that the documents Ive provided were mot valid but no one told me anything... so I will probably have my application rejected. HSBC advertises as being a bank that facilitates international travelers but is not anything like that.l and ofter their branches are far from where you live. #wasteoftime

No one answers the phone! When you get to the branch, the employees are very lazy and not helpful. And the worst of all, they are not knowledgeable about what they do!!! Terrible!!!

I had some credit card issues and was t able to solve with Fraud dept. after more than a hour in branch visit everything was good again. Thanks to Nicole who provided awesome and patience service. Will consider a bank account This was Mountain View, CA branch.

I do not understand negative reviews as I have never had such experiences from over 10 visits in the past.... I use this bank for over 10 years and have very pleasant customer services so far.

I've been to this branch on 2 occasions and was treated poorly by their staff both times. The premier relationship managers in particular were rude and made me feel terrible/inferior. The staff in general seems disengaged and doing a simple transfer with no queue and all the paperwork ready took 45 mins. I had issues with their online banking having a technical difficulty so had to go to the branch and this location was the most convenient for me. I've decided to move my primary banking relationship somewhere else.

I had a credit card issue and the staff was unhelpful. They insisted that the branch could not help and I just had to call the number. Then the staff gave me the number which I later figured out was not even the right number. In general I will say stay away from HSBC. They have horrible customer service with phone and in branch.

My experience was very bad. I went to the branch to open a new account. As their potential customer, no one from front desk answer me. I have to go all the way back to ask if anyone can help me on open a new account. The teller said I can. I told her since it is still in the promotion period which you deposit a certain amount of money, you receive a bonus back which I saw it on their official website. The teller said you have to do that by yourself online, I can't help you. What the hell, then what is the meaning of a branch standing there

Extremely slow and lazy staff. Refused to provide a service because bank was closing in 15 minutes. Next day I had to wait another half an hour even though I had an appointment.

I opened an account here after receiving a promotional offer from them in mail. I appreciate that they open on Thursday till 6pm (most banks close at 5 on workdays)
