Not a bad Safeway when you're in a pinch for flowers, Starbucks, and various types of miscellaneous items. Since there is no built in pharmacy the medicine section is pretty limited (for example, no cough drops or sore throat lozenges). You won't want to miss the corn dogs or any of the hot foods though. Definitely the strong suit of this location!

I ordered a product on Safeway.com for pickup at Miramonte Safeway. They charged my credit card. So far, so good. Got a voicemail, sorry, we don't have *enough* to fill your order, can only do a *partial.* OK, I get it. Covid, supply chain, etc. etc. Now the KICKER. Oh, by the way, the per unit price is DOUBLE what we agreed to charge you when you placed your order. Really. So, here's the take away. 1. When you buy something on Safeway.com, you haven't actually bought it, yet. You might get it, or you might not. 2. When they charge you X per unit on Safeway.com, you *might* get it for X per unit when you go to pick it up, or you might get charged 2X, i.e. twice the agreed-upon price.

Specially for the deli: Unbelievably rude and unprofessional. My dad went here to order some sandwiches for himself and his workers and the lady helping him was yelling at him "what do you want?!" And after asking to see what breads they had she threw the loaves that he didn't want and he was so shocked at her behavior. Luckily he spoke to the manager but this is not ok.

I was hosting a dinner party for my friends and happened to stop by this location for some decent quality food to prepare. Boy was I disappointed! This location has such a small selection it is hard to believe! The size was alarming as there were countless people meandering through the aisles restocking during the middle of the day! The employees at this location are some of the rudest I have ever come across in a grocery store and many of them hire ex-cons. The prepared food was just appalling. Then to top it all off there was a line of about 20 people to actually purchase your items! How is this possible?!?!? I will never come back to this Safeway again. I put down my cheese platter and wine and left. People do not have the time to wait 45 minutes to buy their groceries, get your act together.

The experience of Safeway purely based on the management. I never rate supermarket because like who cares? You come, buy and go. They have turnover so you don't even get to see the same people after a while. This store particularly give me a very different experience since 2020. I noticed there management is different: 1. Manager/assistant is a Latino lady. Very energetic, friendly and happy. Really made a difference with the experience. 2. Cashiers - there are more diverse with African Americans, Latinos, Caucasians. People are more friendly... Sometime too talkative but surely made this feels like a neighborhood market. 3. Inventory - mostly well stocked. Especially meat. Other stores do ran out and even when they do, they offered to get it from the back and custom pack for me.

I have had a few really bad experiences at this store recently and it's all about the employees. So rude I can't believe it. One checker that was so aggressive I would wait in a longer line to avoid her. Tonight was about the third time that this youngish gentleman (I know his name from the receipt but won't use it here) has checked me out. Even when I asked how his evening was going and thanked him at the end of our transaction he refused to speak or make eye contact. He practically threw my groceries at me. I will never go back, to many other stores not that far away to put up with this kind of treatment.

Try to be a little customer friendlier. People behind the seafood counter. I said thank you.

Decent sanitation during COVID19, but service is bare-bones, and prices practices are malicious. I had to frantically bag $500 worth of groceries because no one was there to help me, and the line of angry people were mounting. After I got home, I saw on my receipt that many things were NOT charged the labeled/sale price. This is not the employees' fault. This is greedy Safeway taking advantage of rushed people during COVID knowing we 1) wouldn't have time to check and 2) won't got back for refunds.

Overall, I like this store. But I had a bad experience today. They were badmouthing customers for not following rules that they failed to explain to their customers. They need better customer service.

Always good, kind of difficult parking. The store needs a deep cleaning. Good deals on flowers! Really good meat market, butcher is nice . The meat department will do specialty cuts of meat . That is pretty much the nicest thing about this place!

Usually it's completely fine but, the other night I went to grab some food like it was roughly 1:20am. It was dead and everything was closed and I asked a worker if I can check out. I really didn't appreciate him talking kinda rude to me. I'm sorry but, I could have used a self machine if it was open. I understand it's annoying but, honestly it took like 5 minutes out of your time. I work in a grocery store as well AND I know not to be like that to anyone. Not cool.

I don't shop here for groceries but back in Highschool I used to occasionally pop in with friends for a quick bite to eat. Their hot food counter and sushi counter both sell some pretty tasty food (I occasionally grab a donut or two as well which whilst kind of bready, are still good and quite cheap like their other quick food offerings). If you're shopping for groceries you can bring home a fairly tasty lunch or dinner for the family.
