Before I moved to the neighborhood, holiday grocery shopping was basically The Hunger Games. Lots of sharp elbows, people getting pissed while waiting in winding lines, and grocery items all over the place. At this Safeway, things are a little less dystopian, and a lot more pleasant. I just went Thanksgiving shopping here and have to say I'm really grateful to my local Safeway for keeping lines short and shelves well stocked. Although this store isn't the largest location, you have to appreciate that it takes a really good team to manage frantic holiday crowds with grace, which I think the staff here is great at. When I stopped by, there were no messes, no drama, and no lines during peak shopping time, which took all the stress out of this usually dreaded errand. Big shout out to the team here and Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Great neighborhood store. Get my pup's weekly veggies here (yes, my dog loves veggies!). Also get my staples here. They also have cool items like Hawaiian style Portuguese sausage...great for fried rice or breakfast loco mocos! The location is convenient and parking lot is easy to get in/out of...and plenty of parking. #kokoapproved

Decent safeway but lacking a lot of single-serve options for quick snacks. You'll find more large sizes and a lot fewer small ones. They also lack any sort of self checkout like the other stores. Haven't had any issues with the food but I'm not very picky.

What a joke. One star is one too many. Shrimp was priced incorrectly when I checked out and I had the Waterfro nt bags for Friday deal on my shopping list in my account. After telling the cashier price was wrong she insisted she was correct. I finally got disgusted and had them return the shrimp, but then decided on my way out to stop at customer service, because the store should not get away with incorrect advertising and pricing The so called manager, took 15 minutes to arrive at customer service and then was able to verify the correct price. I did not get the $5.00 coupon for being charged incorrectly. I did not get an apology for having to wait so long and to be honest the website just does not work for pricing correctly. In addition my birthday gift was somehow something they could not get either, I believe a couple of donuts with a candle in it. Bottom line is I should the store customer service stinks and the people who work at Safeway are "marginal" too bad, the store has gone downhill. I should advise customers to shop anywhere else!

This is my go to location because it's close to my house and on my way to work. I go to this safeway at least 3 times a week and i've never had ANY issues before today. I lost my wallet somewhere between my car and the check out stand and when I asked the manager on duty, America, if anyone had turned anything in she quickly said no with out even asking. She continued to ask if my phone poking out of my pocket was my wallet to which I replied no and she said oh well i don't know then. She didn't let me leave a name and number so now I'll have to go back and recheck at the end of the day. As I was leaving I told her she had no compassion and she began to raise her voice at me becoming defensive and explaining why she walked away from me when I was asking for help. I've never been treated so poorly by management it's absolutely ridiculous.

Staff is super friendly but they're usually out-of-stock on important items such as milk and fruits before end of the day. If you visit this place often, I'd highly recommend getting a membership with Safeway as well. I personally haven't tried their Deli service yet

Unethically overpriced items, more so than your bougie grocery store. From beer to personal care or groceries, if it's not on sale, it's easily overpriced by 40%, if not more. The sale price barely keeps up with normal pricing at other stores.

I love this Safeway. Their deli is great and everyone is friendly. I just wish they had a bakery and I didn't have to go to the Shoreline location. That store is always out of everything and not as friendly.

This is a much smaller Safeway so the selection is not as varied as other locations. I would have given it more stars but I saw an employee putting a non-sanitized cart into the bundle of sanitized carts, something that seems pretty inappropriate during these times. I do appreciate the efforts others went into in order to keep social distance but it is pretty hard in their small isles if people are going opposite directions. May be worthwhile to add those "one way lane" stickers into the mix to avoid people unnecessarily crossing paths.

My go to grocery since it's five minutes from where I live. It's on the smaller side but it's nice and clean. Staff has always been friendly. Just wish there were more organic options.

It is great that they are open during COVID times. However they should also maintain better practice in social distancing. I was at the register and said that I have my own bags. While I started packing, cashier at the register started to rush with next customer, giving me few seconds to put my groceries in my own bags. This was my first experience in this Safeway, probably the last too.

I'm 6 month pregant and it took me 3 ivf cycle and 6 years to concieve. I shop there frequently since it's close to my house and last Saturday after paying for my grocery and on my way walking out I slipped and fell on chicken grease near the third registers from the entrance. The store manager were nice and they all apologized to me for what happened after reviewing the footage and I was told to go get checked and take care of my baby so I went to the OB emergency hospital to get check. The store mgr told me someone from the insurance company would get back to me on Sunday, but I did not receive a call, Monday comes around and still no call. Finally I called the store mgr to call their insurance company to follow up and I get a voicemail, tried call the person back multiple times and left voicemails then the person update their VM stating that they are out of the office. I called again this morning and was told my case was assigned to another person, who currently is in the office, left her a VM and called the main line and was told that person would get back to me. I have a feeling no one is getting back to me. I'm so stressed out because now I might be stuck with a hospital bill, and have painful bruises on my ankle and anxiety on if there are any future issue with my baby resulting from this fall. Thank you Safeway!

Not gonna lie - I was initially wary of this location because the San Antonio one is so much fancier. But I love this Safeway! Parking is plentiful, the location is convenient, things are easy to find, and the staff is friendly. One star off for no self checkout and for the fact that the store is always FREEZING inside - like 55ish degrees, to the point that you definitely need a jacket to be comfortable.

It was a smaller scale Safeway. I found everything I was looking for and even some items on sale that I wasn't expecting to find. It's in a small shopping center next to a Starbucks. I had no issue finding parking even tho it was busy. I had an appointment to get to so I kinda went through the store quickly. The checkers were really nice. Since they weren't to busy they called someone to help me load some stuff in my car (cases of water) The store itself was very clean as well. If in the area I will definitely shop here again.
