Great sushi, very fresh. Seemed slightly overpriced but that's NAPA for you! Easy to pick up and take back to your hotel or eat outside

With the ambiance of Oxbow and with all the different options there, it's easy to be drawn to Eiko's because something about being in that environment makes you want sushi. To put it nicely, unless you are dying for some sushi, it might be better to hold off from here. $12+ for 6pcs is definitely not worth it especially when the rolls are small. Flavor was average and unfortunately its just not what you want when there's other good options in the market.

I ordered the lion sushi and honestly thought it was going to have raw salmon on the rolls and missed the part where it said it was torched.. i was really craving for fresh raw salmon that's why.. i went back and asked if it's ok to exchange it for a raw one because i didn't know it was going to be torched and the cashier was supposed to exchange it when the chef (who may be the owner by the way he acted) interrupted and told me it "clearly" said on the menu that it was torched.. and gave a very condescending and mean attitude that's why i said it was ok and didn't ask again.. i was craving for raw salmon so I had to order it still even if I got a bad service.. the food was good but the chef (maybe the owner) service SUCKS! He needs to get training on good customer service!

Mediocre at best! Nice modern look but bad sushi. The poke bowls were in small plastic covered bowls and only filled halfway! I was not willing to pay $15-$17 for something smaller than a can of Sprite so I didn't try the poke bowl. But the quality of fish in the roll I got was on par with safeway sushi

I love sushi!!!!!!!! Sooooooo good, fresh, and properly prepared. I came here when it was my 21st birthday and all I wanted was some good sushi. My margarita was amazing too made with fresh lime juice and a good choice of milagro tequila. Staff is friendly and attentive! If I lived in California I would be a regular here!

Quick, fresh, and really tasty. No imitation crab meat here for anything with a crab mix which was a very happy surprise! Would absolutely come back anytime for a quick bite in a cool encironmen

My wIfe and I were walking through the market and decided to stop and grab a bit to eat. She got the California roll and I got the rainbow roll. Food was good and service was great. I wish they had the full menu but it is really just a a nice counter spot for some sushi and drinks. Poki bowls looked really good, next time I think we will have one. If you you are looking to have a full meal, I would recommend their restaurant instead. This is a fun place if you are walking around the market and want to sit down and chat will enjoying a quick bit.

This sushi restaurant is located inside oxbow market. Oxbow market gets really busy so I would recommend coming here on the weekdays. It's less busy, but still busy. The restaurant is small itself with 5 high chairs and two lower chairs. They sell grab-go, but you can dine in. The restaurant menu is simple. They only sell sashimi, sushi and miso soup. The fish and shrimp seems a little old as it smells fishy, but with ginger and wasabi-soy sauce mix, it helps a little. So I would recommend coming here when it's not busy and even though it's busy you can always take it to go. So yeah,

We didn't know where to get lunch so my daughter looked on Yelp and found a sushi place. It's a small unassuming place inside of a huge bizarre type store. They have a small counter space 2 seater near the register and also a larger counter can accommodate about 5 comfortably. There is also a few tables across the way that can be utilized. Most people were getting food to go. My daughter and I opted to sit at the small counter and dine. We got a seaweed salad it came with tomatoes on top which was something new for us but it was good. We got the Eiko roll it is rolled in kelp rather than seaweed, really tasty. We also got a sashimi sampler it was really good. While we were sitting there we were being nosey and saw another customer get a really yummy looking roll so we asked what it was and ended up ordering one ourselves too. It was a Ricky Ricardo at the oxbow. It was amazing. While this place isn't about ambiance we enjoyed our lunch and the employees are very friendly. Also you can watch the people making sushi in real time on an overhead monitor.

To be honest I LOVE the Eiko's restaurant, but the oxbow location was a weird experience. My friend and I ordered bowls of the miso soup it was served to us lukewarm with cold tofu and the mushrooms tasted like chemicals. My friend was too afraid to eat them. The waitress was a little rude and was constantly texting on her phone. We asked for water and It might as well have been from the sink...the only thing from the evening that was okay was the roll. And even then I was skeptical because I noticed the chefs did not bother to wear gloves...We arrived at 6 and left by 6:20. It was an instant regret and we tried to get in and out as fast as possible. I wish the experience was better.

Lion and Ricky rolls are delicious. Lion is my fave, service a bit slow but there are two people working so be patient.

The sushi was good and perfectly rolled. I ordered two different rolls and they were pretty good. However the price point is way too high and I can't understand why they insisted on charging me 15% service fee as if it was a sit down restaurant with waiter service when I had ordered it to-go and wasn't even allowed to sit down. The thing that really bothered me was the fact that none of the chefs bothered to wear gloves while making the rolls but I was so hungry that I ate it anyways. Please, for sanitary reasons make sure your chefs were gloves. I don't know if they washed their hands or not before getting to work.

Great place with good sashimi and Sake. Wasn't happy that they were out of shishito peppers :( a tad pricey but overall very good.

I had the poke bowl and it was really good! Fresh tuna and the rice was the perfect sticky consistency. I'd eat it again a million times.

Favorite thing about this place - their miso soup! It was packed with flavor and had mushrooms! The sushi rolls were also pretty good and tasted fresh. Service was quick despite the fact that they had a lot of pick up orders. Will be back!

Austin is amazing!!! He packed the heck out my handroll ($10/each) These suckers are large enough to keep you full Recommendations: - crab handroll (additions: avocado, green onions, jalapeí±os and slick sauce) - Wish they had scallops - they can add whatever you want in the handroll :-) - also recommend the Ricky Ricardo roll Also recommend avoiding the smoked salmon- perfectly acceptable but a little too salty for me :-)

Arrived at 7:40 and were told no. Can never tell what this places hours are. Arrive 30-40 minutes early until Yelp or Eiko's figures out what time they actually close.

The food here is less expensive than at other places in the Market but it's still a bit pricier than sushi elsewhere. I found the food to be quick and high quality.

Definitely not worth the time and money we spent on this place. The moment we walked in the host was rude and looked like we’d interrupted her conversation about her holiday plan. Food was average for the price. The bean chips are very tasty.

There are two restaurants, one is a larger restaurant, probably the better of the two I'm guessing? It's self standing and fancier, larger and in the heart of downtown. This version was inside of the oxbow market place, very small and basic. The miso was good, they threw in some mushrooms which was nice, the sushi itself wasn't anything special or fancy, just basic. But with the typically hefty Napa price tags we stuck to a couple of the cheaper rolls and then one of the fancier. I believe it says on Yelp one of the rolls they are known for, that's the one we ordered with the kelp wrapping? It was pretty good. Not worth $15, but it had three different kinds of fish inside, and no crappy fake crab filler. I will say the rice was a bit warm and mushy, but it was the end of the night so maybe that's not common? So if you're craving sushi in the Napa area and money isn't exactly an object, I would recommend grabbing a small bite here and getting the Johnny something roll with the kelp wrapping instead of seaweed. It was good. Sidenote, I won't say who but I did over hear and catch one of the employees talking about having spit in the food of a customer as they were cleaning up to close. I'm not sure if this person was making reference to something that happened in the past, or something that happened at this establishment. But when they realized I overheard them speaking, they assured me they didn't spit in my food and we're not talking about us. They apparently felt they were speaking quietly enough that no one could hear. Well, I did hear. Lol.

The sushi was highly mediocre.
