Dragonfly has such a warm welcoming vibe when you walk in. The ladies are amazing. I've been getting my hair done by Sara for awhile now and she is amazing. Listens to me, and I end up loving it. Thank you so much Sara. If you need a haircut, color or whatever I would suggest Sara, or any of the others. You won't be disappointed.

I went here to accompany my friend getting her hair cut for prom, as soon as I walked in it was super nice and both of the lady’s working were welcoming. She offered to cut my bangs for free and she helped a lot with my hair questions. She did a super great job on my friend’s hair and mine! 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

I have been coming to Dragonfly Salon for over 20 years. The staff is amazing, friendly and kind. My stylist listens to me intently and makes all the subtle changes I have wanted to do over the years. She is caring, funny and extremely talented, to do anything and everything I want to do. I have hi and low lights in my very difficult hair. It takes about 3 hours for the color to take effect! I wouldn't trust anyone else to touch my hair.

Kris is amazing! I came in with damaged hair from a previous bleach and extension install. She was honest and made me understand why she was doing everything she did. We got to keep the length and go lighter which I wasn't expecting at all! She really made my hair dreams come true and for a great price. Will come back to her for all future appointments.

I get my hair cut and lightened by Michellene, and she's wonderful. I can vouch for her skill with shears, razor cutting, highlights, and freehand balayage. She's also a wizard at combining toners to make the highlights flattering to the skin tone. An artist! The space is really cute too, and there's onsite parking, a luxury for downtown Nevada City.
