This the second time I arrive to the pharmacy a few minutes (5) before closing time and the staff is already walking out. There were at least two other customers that arrived after me, during which the pharmacy was supposed to be “open”.

Dont like being told stories. I see my Doc every 6 months. Got refills on 3 different allergy meds and 1 refill pain meds. Doc says he wants me to have the refills at local Pharmacy incase I need. them. I get a text that Pioneer kindly filled the prescriptions. I call to notify that I only needed the pain med refilled and would pick up Saturday. The nice lady seemed a little miffed. I apologized for extra work and she said she got it. She called back saying per the Pharmacist I have to pick up all or nothing. I asked why would I pick up meds I already have. He started quoting some controlled substance non-sense and that my Doc wanted me to have the meds. I advised I want the controlled substance just not the meds I already own. The pharmacist could care less. He advised to have Doc call him. The sad thing is Pioneer filled the allergies scipts in the past and know they are refills? I get it all or nothing because he the boss. Why make up stores? If I had to take up my docs time to call him I have my doc send the script to another pharmacy and did. Shame I was trying to support down town businesses.

Great drug store their sister store is in Gustine. If they don't have it here Gustine will or they will get it for you. Staff is great and very knowledgeable and helpful.

Extremely disappointed in this pharmacy. My husband walked up and there was a sign saying taking walkins today for J&J. He approached pharmacy and they told him they weren't doing vaccines today. He pointed out the sign amd was told they are too busy on Mondays to do vaccines. He pointed out he was the only one there. He ended up walking out with no vaccine. So good luck getting him back in now. Really? People are pushing for vaccination and the turned someone away. Beyond disappointing!

This pharmacy, especially the pharmacist should be charged for neglect. The pharmacist refused to fill my medication that I take daily and without it I cannot function (it's not even for an opioid). His reason for refusing was because the prescription came from an out of town Doctor. We are in a small town, most prescriptions they receive come from out of town. I feel I was singles out; none the less this is inappropriate and unethical.

Racists people working here, I was parking in front of the store, as it was about to open, as I was walking in, when I was told very rudely “how long are you gonna be parked there, we need that parking space for real customers, you people are always taking space from us, horrible experience

Wow! Rude cashier and pharmacist thought it was funny as he was laughing. Story is Rite Aid didn't have the medicine my daughter needed so my doctor recommended sending it here. They said they didn't receive anything, I asked them to please contact the doctor and they refused with an attitude, so I contacted the doctor and they stated it was sent and proceeded to re-send it and apparently these folks' fax does not work because and still did not receive it. Decided to have my prescription sent to Walgreens instead. Surprise! They received it the first time and my prescription was ready as soon as I arrived. Don't bother with these archaic pharmacies. Lack of respect, incompetent, and outright rude!

Very helpful friendly people work here. Ralph the pharmacist is the best. Pick up your prescription, and shop for some cute gifts also.

We are VERY new to Newman (8 months here) and I was excited about the small town and feel. Till I needed to pick up my daughter's medicine and Tom in pharmacy refused to call my insurance and yelled at me when I told him I'd have to come back to pick up the medicine as I didn't have time to call my insurance to see if any changes had been made (we've never had a co-pay for prescription and now we do). I could still hear him yelling to me at the front of the store "What do you want me to do with the medicine?!" If I wanted to deal with rude people I'd have taken our business to Walgreens.
