Didn’t see much Fashion going on around Fashion Island but that aside, this hotel ticks a lot of boxes. We were attending a conference in Aneheim and did not want to stay there. This hotel is a 30 minute drive but allows good possibilities for dining in Newport Beach, Laguna, Balboa etc. The hotel itself is large and very well maintained in the public areas. Good pool, well equipped gym and decent bar and outside areas. Lots of work conferences take place here and the weekends seem to fill up with stag and hen parties. My room was on the second floor and was of a good size. Bit tatty here and there. Had an adjoining room and it really needs soundproofing. Could here all phone calls and conversations plus bathroom activities. It has to be said the staff throughout the hotel were first class.

Stayed at this amazing hotel post surgery with Dr. Dubrow to recuperate. We had a beautiful suite overlooking Newport Beach watching the sunset’s daily with three balconies. This was an amazing time though I was recuperating. They have a Dubrow menu and the staff is amazing! I have to say hands down the Valet crew cleaning, laundry, room service staff are who we dealt with the most as well as the staff at the market superb! Highly Recommend this hotel!

This is the second year in a row that we hosted and all stayed at the Fashion Island Hotel. The rooms, the staff and food are out of this world. Great service! If you consider hosting a conference, I would highly recommend this venue. Great location!

This hotel is probably the last example of the big footprint hotels of the ‘60’s and ‘70’s. The monster driveway, valet area, lobby, and lobby bar and restaurant alone must consume enough sq ft to build a a 50 story Manhattan hotel. Unfortunately the rooms, while admittedly clean and well maintained, are also still from this era.

When traveling to Newport Beach for work, this is my hotel of choice. It’s conveniently located, the rooms are beautiful and the staff is super friendly and always willing to help. I’ve stayed here several times and always have a good experience!

Come here for great coffee, breakfast sandwiches, a sandwich melt or an artisan flatbread and you’ll be a regular. Excellent, friendly service!

Better coffee than Peets or Starbucks. Friendly service. Rarely a wait. Could use more comfortable seating - really a to go experience.
