HOW TO LOSE A CUSTOMER IN 3 EASY STEPSLong time client for last several years .Purchased my car and extended warranty from Porsche Newport Beach. Brought my car in for service. Technician starts off with its a 320 fee for diagnosis .I explain I have an extended warranty and I have never been charge this fee up front . Keeps repeating its there policy .Ask to speak to Service manager (Maria) . Maria is to busy to walk over and speak to me in person so Im handed the phone. She explains to me it is there policy unless you have an AUTO NATION bought extended warranty and that the advisor was correct....but wait I HAVE AN AUTO NATION EXTENDED WARRANTY,...so he is not correct. #1. Lesson before you tell your client he is incorrect do your research .#2 Lesson If your customer ask's to speak to the service manager and your the service manager (Maria)have the courtesy to speak to your client face to face when their in the dealership. #3 Lesson apologize for the mis -understanding . I understand mistakes happen we are all human. Its how you handle them afterwards is what customers remember .Thats all that it would have taken and this review what have never been posted. Will never return to this dealership .

It was by far the worst experience. I came in on a possible trade from my Austin Martin Vantage to the 911 Turbo S. I came in and spoke with a salesman that had clients at the time so he led me to a sales rep (I don't recall his name). I was told he's the most experience guy and that he would help me. I spoke with the rep for about five minutes about the car, told him what I'm looking to do and ask him if I can test drive the car before making a decision. I told him that I've driven the GT3 on the track numerous times, but have yet to try the 911 turbo s. My mind was pretty much set on the car. I asked him to take a test drive before making a decision. For whatever reason he did not take me seriously. He looked at me with hesitation and told me that the dealer is limiting the test drives as the dealer is trying to keep the miles low on the 911 turbo S. I was insulted. I got up and showed him my black card and advised him that I will never ever do business with the dealer and that he's the most unprofessional individual I ever dealt with. I have never been insulted this way before I've spoken with Porsche of San Diego Spoke with a serious salesman and I will be heading out there Saturday for a purchase. I will not recommend Newport Porsch Dealer to anyone

I have owned almost a dozen Porsche cars since I became in love with the Brand after buying my first one. I always bring my cars to Jason Sands in Service, who is extremely friendly, honest, and professional. The communication between the technician (Aaron K.) Jason, and myself is always top notch. My car is always fixed in the absolute best practices as I look under the hood and it looks as if the car just came out of the factory. I can't explain how good my technician is. He is so detailed he hides the screws on hose clamps! I always schedule an appointment and request a loaner and they always have a beautiful new Macan to loan to me. Maria the service manager is always available to help me and she is always friendly and helpful as well. I am a lifelong customer and I understand that good work takes time and isn't cheap. For the complainers on here about price; don't own or go near a Porsche if you can't afford the maintenance. These aren't Toyotas; they're meant to drive 125 mph all day, so the parts that you complain about are there to keep the car safe at speed. If you want a smooth no maintenance car, buy a Lexus. Newport is my dealer for life.

There was an issue with the Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Macan Turbo that I purchased. The timing cover bolts had sheared, and when the vehicle was sold to me, it needed a 120 part $15,000 engine and transmission out timing cover replacement and reseal. Before purchasing, I received documentation from the service manager, used car manager, and certifying Porsche technician that the car passed the 111 point CPO inspection and had no oil leaks. After I purchased the car, I noticed a strong burning oil smell. Porsche Ontario identified the leak (documentation attached below) and Kenneth Lim (the after sales manager for PCNA) instructed me to bring the vehicle back to Porsche NWPT to resolve the issue. On three separate occasions when the car was brought to Porsche Newport Beach for service, I was assured that this oil leak was residual oil from a previous repair that had not been cleaned up. To protect them from any liabilities & keep their CPO license, they used this as an excuse to cover up their lies. The undercarriage was repeatedly detailed, but the issue was never resolved. I had an independent Porsche repair shop inspect the vehicle, and the repair was eventually made by Porsche Bellevue in Seattle, WA 70 days after the initial sale of the vehicle on March 30, 2023.Between service and sales, the entire team was dishonest and disrespectful. I worked with Robert Fischer (sales), Maria Perez-Castillo (service manager), Anette (assistant service manager), Tim Tauber (general manager), Evan Lebrun (service advisor), & Simon Chen (service advisor). Neither of these individuals were fully transparent with me, and absolutely no one at this dealership made an effort to ensue that my Macan Turbo was up to CPO spec.I am disappointed with the outcome and the fact that despite 8 attempts, no one at the dealership made an effort to solve the problem to my satisfaction. On 6/23/2023 I proposed a solution to remedy my dissatisfaction. Despite leaving three additional voicemails with my sales consultant and the general manager, I have not received a response. I am unhappy and shocked that a dealership such as Porsche Newport Beach would be so short sided and would fail to make an effort to treat a customer in a truthful and respectful manner.

I purchased my Porsche from this location and it was nothing short of amazing. They have the best amenities, coffee, snacks you name it. When it comes to coming in for a service you won't be disappointed. (Make sure you prepay for a few services when purchasing the vehicle as it can get pricey owning a luxury vehicle) Simon has been my service advisor for the past 2 years, every time I come in I'm am promptly taken to my service advisors office and given a loaner car per request. They always have your car washed/sanitized and ready to go when you arrive to pick your car up from service. I will definitely be purchasing my next Porsche from this location because of the awesome service.

The dealership is a customer service disaster They have phones that remain unanswered Voicemail that never gets returned And a "careless" attitude to help buy or service a luzrury car even before you walk in the door Until they can get their act together. Pass this haphazard approach to valuing clients or customers It's not worth your time

Horrible service. Called in to schedule a recall on my 911. Spoke to someone on the phone who sounded like she just woke up from a nappy nap! Total bubble head took 15 to book appointment for service. Worst part go to Newport Porsche and the place is closed down for construction!!! Why didnt the air head on the phone mention that or tell me alternative service location on phone? Go to other spot in Costa Mesa, they have no appointment, no clue of anything! And no loaners as well, telling me if I want a loaner it will be scheduled in august. Never mind half my day is shot or even a apology ! F this place taking my car to Irvine or Long Beach.

What a negative Experince with this dealership. Super unprofessional and incompetent. Had to come back 4 times for the same issue because they couldn’t duplicate it although their advisors witnessed the issue multiple times. Go somewhere else for service

I had my first service on my Porsche and I seen the horrible reviews and asked the service department what was the issue. I had the oil change and inspection, was under 600.00. The service dept kept me up to date, the car was dirty, but it has been raining. Will do my next service there again. I have no complaints!

Scammers!! Stay away!! They ripped me off and didn't want to fix my vehicle. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. I'm only starting with these people. Especially Maria is the worst there! Stay away like from fire!
