Wow, was walking by and heard one of the employees yelling obscenities at a customer... what a bad look for a business yikes

I'm on vacation here from out of state and made a note to stop by this place because it looked really cool. I rode my bike with my service animal and I put my mask on went to walk in and the guy behind the counter abruptly says "yeah sorry you can't come in because my dog is here." Not sure if this is the owner or just an employee, I told him ok no problem I would be sure to leave a nasty review online. As I rode my bike back by he tells me to "eat sh*t." So I kindly returned the favor by telling him to go f*** himself because really who treats a potential customer that way and I'm from the east coast we don't play that. Hopefully next time he talks like that to someone it's a man his size not a 5ft female and he gets knocked the hell out.

I love vintage stores! This so fun to have on the peninsula! Great customer service and great selection. You can tell the owner has great taste! They loved my 80's outfit and bought it on the spot. It takes you back in time for sure.

I was not impressed. There was a variety of "vintage" clothing, but it was so old and the presentation was seriously lacking. The guy at the counter just sits and plays on his phone. Doesn't greet customers and did not exhibit interest in customers or a personality. Quite sad. I'm sure they pay a lot of overhead just for the location. Update your items and invest in good employees.

Cute shop but overpriced for very used clothing

I love the vintage looks here. Ranging from 30s-current day. It's kinda small but the staff there's really nice. The clothing is more toward women's. I like this place a lot for period pieces.

Yes, yes, yes. Tucked away far down the interminable Newport Blvd (how soon we forget) lies a rough diamond. This is real vintage. They actually had lots of intact 1940 and 1950s items. I scored a pristine red cashmere sweater with black lace and bead overlay that looks like last years Dolce and Gabbana. Cost me $50. Don't skip the sales rack! I found a 1980s white silk DKNY tunic with surplice wrapping and an old Japanese silk kimono with rotted out shoulders but a fantastic lining to make a scarf. Those were $4 each. Send the family down to ride bicycles along the coast while you get your fix.

A true vintage resale shop. I popped in here on a recent visit to Newport Beach. I love thrift shopping so this one seemed perfect. They had a good selection of clothing from the 50s through the early to mid 90s. The prices seemed a little on the high side, but it's Newport Beach so that's not surprising. If you are into vintage clothing, check this place out.

I read a comment from a person about my review criticizing why I wrote my review... Stating that of course small is small people were smaller then.. As though I shop vintage without recognizing size.. I guess I need to make clear by small I ment kid sized.. I wear a size 28 in mens. I haven't been back since my prior review but, given where I'm at financially I'll probably be a while before I consider it if I consider it.

Tried to stop by and check this place out at 5pm on a Tuesday (business hours posted as open until 7pm) only to be met with a closed sign (that also indicates 7pm closing) with no return time.. Kind of a bummer, but glad I was just in the area and didn't make a drive over here for nothing!

I LOVE this shop! We visited a couple summers ago while on vacation in New Port Beach. It was so fun to peruse the assortment of clothing from many different eras and I ended up buying two dresses: One from the 50's and, the other, probably an 80's frock. The so-cute printed 50's dress was in okay condition with some fading but I disassembled the whole dress with plans of using the pieces to re-make the same style in a new fabric! I just bought a Rachel Comey pattern and will make it up and send a picture when it's complete

The shop is small and if you’re looking for mainly antiques I don’t recommend this place but if you’re looking for clothing it’s great! They have small items such as jewelry at the counter and in the back they have a great variety of shoes and a few hats and purses. I’d definitely recommend to check them out the owner is really nice and the location is great. If you’ve been to the Balboa area you would know that the streets are tiny but I’ve never had a problem with parking there’s a gas station next door and a small parking lot in the back.

Love this shop and can't wait to go back. Nicole is wonderful, very helpful and knowledgable, helped me and my husband both find a great outfit for a 60s period party. She has a huge selection of clothes and accessories and the prices are reasonable.
